Josh Bessはニューヨーク出身・東京在住の音楽プロデューサー／ミュージシャン／著作家である。
彼に関する最もよく知られたコンテンツはHal Leonard Publishingからリリースされた、デスクトップでの現代的な音楽制作に関する教育コンテンツである。中でも「Electric Dance Music Grooves」と「Ableton Grooves」といった2冊の本(英語版のみ)は、両書ともAmazonの音楽書籍カテゴリーでベストセラーとなった。さらに楽曲や作品の制作に関するwebniar「Josh Bess Webinar Series」もホストしており、毎月7000人以上の生徒にストリーミング中継を配信している。
また、彼は音楽制作や作曲家としてDisney／Nickelodeon／MTV／Tokyo Fashion Week／Amazon Fashion Weekといった企業に楽曲を提供しており、Bosphorus Underground RecordingsやNaschkatze Underground Recordingsといったアンダーグラウンドのエレクトロニック･ミュージックレーベルにもトラックを提供している。
　

Josh Bess
Josh Bess is a percussionist and electronic artist, currently based out of New York. Growing up just outside of New York City, he has been involved with music from an early age. Performing with multiple artists, and employing a wide variety of styles, Josh has experience in jazz, funk, Latin, pop, rock and more. Alongside performing, Josh developed an interest in the audio production of music, and went on to earn his college degree for Audio Engineering and Jazz Commercial Performance.
In addition to performing in his more commonly known original group, 'VulpesVulpes,' Josh also works on his own solo material under the name 'Bess', involving the use of live, improvised, and looped percussion instruments fused with his knowledge and ear for electronics. Josh continues to work with a variety of artists such as Gina Cutillo, with song placement on programs such as Nickelodeon's Degrassi, The Oprah Winfrey Show, Barbara Walters and more.
