ゴムというジャンルにおいて最高のキュレーターと称されるState OFFFの日本デビューがついに実現する。オーガナイズは、モンスターパーティAMAPINIGHTと、韓国Cakeshopで開催されてきた前衛的イベントHyperwineとの共催だ。

ジンバブエで生まれ、現在拠点をアムステルダムに置くプロデューサー/DJのState OFFFは、2022年のデビューEP「TODAY GQOM」以降、「EDITSSS」シリーズなど、ゴム作品でありながらゴムから飛躍した衝撃作の数々で世界中から注目を浴びてきた。
DJにもそれは反映されていて、その革新的な構成は、意図された歪みや複層的で多彩な響きが交わる、特別な聴覚体験をもたらしてくれる。ミニマルな進行はモダンで、その中にはアフリカのディアスポラや、様々な国からのエキサイティングな現代エレクトロニックミュージックが散りばめられている。

今回開催されるHYPERCLUBは、レーベルCarousel SeoulとコレクティヴHyperwineによってCakeshopで開催されてきたパーティラインで、Mike QやFlorentino、Bobby Beethoven (前Total Freedom)といったハイクラスとのセッションで、高度な享楽を創造してきた。なお、State OFFFの最新EPでゴムの重要作品「Simulacra」も、Carousel Seoulからリリースされている。

HyperwineのファウンダーNevin The Dudeや、Carousel Seoulからリリースする唯一の日本人プロデューサーWRACKなど、レーベルをめぐるパーティメイクは徹底されている。
東京に未体験の狂騒を繰り広げてきた、SAKURA、RINA、AOIによるAMAPINIGHTからは、昨年のFUJI ROCK FESTIVALやRDC、STARFESTIVALなどステージを拡大し続けるSAMOと、大阪発の人気パーティFULLHOUSEではSAMOともレジデントメイトのTAKENOKO。Spotify、Netflix、AMBUSH、DIESELといったメディア/ファッションのパーティからもオファーを受けるYUUGOHがラインナップ。
日本のゴムシーン代表といっても過言でないTYO GQOMは、2023年にState OFFFの招聘に試みており、2年越しの念願の共演となる。
さらに、LAから、舞踏、特撮、フィルム・ノワールの要素を融合してスピリチュアリティや神話、宇宙観を探求するアーティスト011668の来日も決まった。

進化系ゴムとアマピアノ、重心が低いヒップホップやベースミュージック、ビートが弾けるハウス/テクノが最高潮にのぼる、2025年最重要パーティといっても大袈裟ではないはずだ。

State OFFF, widely regarded as the top curator in the Gqom genre, will finally make his debut in Japan. The event is a collaboration between the legendary AMAPINIGHT party and the avant-garde Hyperwine, which has been held at Cakeshop in South Korea.

State OFFF, a producer/DJ originally from Zimbabwe and currently based in Amsterdam, has gained global attention with his 2022 debut EP 「TODAY GQOM 」and his 「EDITSSS」 series—works that are rooted in Gqom but take it in entirely new directions. This unique sound is reflected in his DJ sets, where innovative compositions bring a special auditory experience, merging intentional distortion with layered, diverse sounds. His minimalist progressions are modern and often incorporate exciting contemporary electronic music from the African diaspora and beyond.

The upcoming HYPERCLUB event is part of a party series organized by the label Carousel Seoul and the collective Hyperwine, held at Cakeshop. With past sessions featuring acts like Mike Q, Florentino, and Bobby Beethoven (formerly Total Freedom), the party has cultivated a reputation for creating high-energy experiences with some of the best in the scene. State OFFF’s latest EP and one of the most important Gqom releases, Simulacra, was also released on Carousel Seoul.

The event lineup also showcases the tight-knit community around the label, with Hyperwine founder Nevin The Dude and WRACK, the only Japanese producer to release with Carousel Seoul, leading the charge. From AMAPINIGHT—run by SAKURA, RINA, and AOI, who have been pushing the boundaries of Tokyo’s nightlife—to SAMO, whose performances continue to expand at major events like FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL, RDC, and STARFESTIVAL, and TAOKENOKO, a resident of Osaka's popular FULLHOUSE party. YUUGOH, who has received invitations from major fashion and media parties like Spotify, Netflix, AMBUSH, and DIESEL, will also be joining the lineup.
Representing the Japanese Gqom scene, TYO GQOM has long aspired to collaborate with State OFFF, and this long-awaited collaboration will finally come to fruition in 2023. Additionally, LA-based artist 011668, known for blending butoh, special effects, and film noir to explore themes of spirituality, mythology, and cosmology, will be performing.

With an electrifying mix of evolutionary Gqom, Amapiano, low-frequency hip-hop, bass music, and bouncy house/techno beats, this party is poised to be the most significant event of 2025.
