今、話題のクリエーティブプロデューサー JULIAN CALOR がいよいよ日本初来日！！
Hardwell のレーベル Revealed Recordings に所属する弱冠22歳のオランダの若き才能、Julian Calor。22歳という若さにして、既に Tomorrowland、Creamfields、Dance Valley といった世界中の超大型フェスへの出演という輝かしい功績を残している彼だが、そのキャリアは13歳という幼少期からトラックメイキングを始めていたという地道な下積み時代に支えされている。人知れずパソコンで地道な作業を続け、各レーベルにデモを送り続け、その多くはボツになるものの、なんとか幾つかのリリースに漕ぎ着けるという、まさに駆け出しのアーティストが皆通る苦難な道を歩み続け、リリースの過程では Bass House の第一人者 Oliver Heldens とのコラボトラック”Triumph”を共作し話題を作った。
そして世界最大のエレクトロニック・ミュージックカンファレンスとしても知られる”ADE”(Amsterdam Dance Event)が彼の人生を大きく変えることになる。2012年、Julian 本人自ら、各レーベルや関係者に直接売り込みをする中で Hardwell そして、彼のレーベルでもある Revealed Recordings との出会いを迎えたことが、彼の”シンデレラストーリー"の幕開けとなる。
2014年には、Revealed Recordings よりデビューシングル”Typhoon / Storm”をリリース。同楽曲は世界最大のエレクトロニックミュージック配信サイトの Beatport ではチャート3位を記録し、世界最大のエレクトロニックミュージック配信ラジオであるイギリスの BBC Radio1 でもフューチャーされ一躍話題となり、全世界中のトップアーティストがこぞってライブセットやラジオ、ポッドキャストでサポートをするまでのバズを起こした。
House Music、Progressive House をバックグラウンドに持つ彼が織りなすメロディーは、激しさの中に、どことなく切なさを孕んでいる。まさに、そこが彼のトラックの最大の魅力とも言えるかもしれない。
デビューアルバムでもある、最新アルバム”EVOLVE”の制作過程でも Julian は「Electro House の持つ激しさの中に昔ながらの懐かしさを彷彿させるようなメロディーを織り交ぜてみる、そんな斬新なアプローチをしてみたかったんだ。」とも語っている。

The young Julian Calor is a talented 22-year-old from Holland, and is already a member of Hardwell's label Revealed Recordings. Despite his 22 years of age, his list of achievements shines bright: he has already played at such large-scale world festivals as Tomorrowland, Creamfields and Dance Valley, and his track-making career started back when he was a 13-year-old child. He kept earnestly working at his craft on his computer, still unknown to the world, until he started sending demos to every single label. Many of them rejected him, but at last he managed to release some of his work, overcoming all the obstacles which upcoming artists must often face. During this process, he released "Triumph", a collaborative track together with Oliver Heldens, the leading guy behind Bass House, and this succeeded in placing him in the spotlight.
In 2014 he released his debut single on Revealed Recordings, "Typhoon / Storm". This same track made it to the 3rd chart position of Beatport, one of the world's largest electronic music online stores. It was also featured on the UK's BBC Radio1, the world's most influential electronic music station, and this immediately brought it to the public eye. Top artists from all over the world unanimously got behind him, and gave him their support by playing the track in their live sets, radio shows and podcasts, generating a lot of buzz around it.
His debut album, "EVOLVE", also got favorable reviews, proving once again that this young 22-year-old named Julian Calor is becoming popular all over the world.
