Danny Krivit Celebrating 45 Years of Djing presented by King Street Sounds

70年代から現在までNYのシーンを牽引し、数多の感動的な音楽を世界中で表現し続けてきた Danny Krivit が、自身のDJ45周年を祝う特別な一夜の為、再来日。
ジャイルス・ピーターソンによる南仏のフェスティバル“ Worldwide Festival ”へも出演を果たし、これまでも国内での来日公演をサポートしてきた Dazzle Drums が祝宴の一夜に花を添える。

Danny Krivit は Studio54,The Loft,Shelter,Sound Factory Bar 等のその時代を代表するクラブでDJとして活躍。東京では春の風物詩となった“ Body &Soul ”のレジデントを盟友のFrancois Kevorkian、Joe Claussellと共につとめ、主宰の“718 Sessions”はTime Out 2011年Best Partyに選出されるなどNYを代表するビッグパーティに成長。キャリアが45周年の節目を迎えた今でも、全く色褪せることなく輝き続ける、正真正銘のリヴィングレジェンドだ。

数多くのエディットワークやMIXのリリースで、音楽の持つ本当の輝きをフロアへと供給し、来日の度に予想もつかない感動的なミュージックジャーニーを展開するプレイは、世代をこえてここ東京でも多くのフリークを生み出し続ける。

ROOM1には彼の来日を長くサポートし、最新の新譜〜ダンス/ハウスクラシックスまでを織り交ぜたプレイで確かな支持を得るDazzle Drumsと、大阪のシーンを支え続ける老舗 union から、関西圏での来日公演をサポートしてきた masaaki (The 5 Circle) も共演。ROOM2 にも都内を中心に活躍する個性豊かなラインナップが並ぶ。

キャリア45周年を盛大に祝う祝宴の一夜で、彼のキャリアの集大成ともいえるプレイを VENT のオンリー・ワンのサウンドシステムで堪能してもらいたい。

From 70s and up until now, Krivit has been leading NY music scene and this time he is coming back to Japan to celebrate his 45 years of DJ life.

His 45 years of DJ life yet it seems he is only going up. His party “718 Sessions” has been chosen as Best Party on Time Out 2011 and became the biggest party in NYC. Also, “Body & Soul” is one of his famous creation with best friends Francois Kevorkian and Joe Claussell and became popular festival in Japan.

At Room1, Dazzle Drums and masaaki (The 5 Circle) from Osaka who have been supporting Danny also will perform. Dazzle Drums achieved to play at Giles Peterson’s Worldwide Festival in South France last year. Worth checking out those talented Japan based DJs tonight too!
