ユニークで謎めいた盤面のデザインと、有機的かつフロアフレンドリーなグルーヴを有したミ ニマル/ディープハウスを量産する、パリ拠点のディストリビューション・レコードショップ "yoyaku"のオーナー兼トラックメーカー。
VarhatことVincent Lubelliは20代からDJとして活動する傍ら、2013年に"yoyaku"をブッキング エージェンシーとして立ち上げた。"yoyaku"は現在、同郷のJaneretやZendidをはじめ、Roger GerressenやAndrey PUSHKAREV、 Oshanaなど各国の有力なDJが所属するコレクティヴに躍 進した。
Vincentは2015年から自らのイニシャル "V" と仏教における阿羅漢 "Arhat" を足したVarhat名義 にて楽曲を発表。さらに"Unknown"(アーティスト詳細非公開)で"yoyaku"関連レーベルから発 表された数多くのトラック制作にも携わっており、既に12インチのリリース数は10枚を超え る。いずれのカタログもRareshやtINIなど多くのDJによってプレイされ、日本でも即完売の状 況が続いている。 近年はDJとしても欧州各国をはじめ世界各国に招致され、2017年最初のギグとなったメキシコ のダンスミュージック・フェスティバル Comuniteでは、Thomas Melchior/Melchior Productions Ltd、Giegling、Sonja Moonear、Fumiya Tanaka、Fred P. AKA Black Jazz Consortiumらと共演 した。 トラック制作、ショップ・レーベル・ディストリビューションの運営、DJを同時にこなし、い ずれにおいても高いクオリティを評価されているVarhat。由緒あるダンスミュージック・マガジ ン XLR8Rの"Best of 2016: New Artists"では、Andrew James GustavやZ@pらと共にアンダーグ ラウンドシーンの新世代を担う一員として名を連ねている。 キャリアをスタートしたばかりではあるが、実績とマルチな才能を武器に、ベテランにも引け をとらない影響力を放っている。

#FLUX
15年のスタート以来、Jun Akimotoやyama'など国内の辣腕テクノ・ハウスDJと競演しながら、 新たな世代によるパーティーを模索してきた#FLUXクルー。なかでも今回の発起人である KarutaとLen Tajimaは弱冠20歳。最若手ながら横浜の名店Sound Community DUBを拠点に活動 し、日々DJスキルと感性を磨いている。彼らがパリまで出演交渉に赴き、今回初来日に至った Varhatも現在25歳。“yoyaku”を2013年に立ち上げ、2015年に楽曲を発表して以来、破竹の勢い で欧州シーンに進出。これまでに公式・非公式含め10枚以上の12インチをリリースする、まさ に急先鋒というべき存在だ。未来のテクノ・ハウスシーンを担うDJによって、新しい『流動』 が生み出される一夜となるだろう。

Varhat
French producer Varhat has been creating music for many years and has become illustrious in recent times due to his painstaking dedication to crafting sound. Varhat has built up a very technical skill set and incorporating modulars and various analogue systems enables him to experiment and generate new ideas at will.
His love for the music doesn't end in the studio and time away from this space often means time spent avidly digging for records. This passion eventually spawned another path for Varhat as he now co-owns a record store Yoyaku, in Paris. In amongst this, Varhat has launched several projects and record labels such as AKU. He is an integral part of every release on his labels and supervises in the direction of the work. He overseas the process and is able to refine a release being a strong sound engineer and his mastering skills complete each cut to specification.
Varhat has no limits when it comes to the music and is always taking on new challenges; pushing boundaries to broaden his soundscape and continues to build on his eclectic catalogue.
