元Panorama BarのレジデントDJ、ProsumerがContactに帰還！ 10,000枚を超えるレコードコレクションから厳選したシカゴ、ニューヨーク、デトロイトのクラシックハウスをミックスすることで温もりのある空間を生み出してきた彼は、2012年までレジデントを務めたPanorama Barを中心として世界中のファンを魅了し続けてきた。忘れ去られたディスコの名作を掘り当て、古びることのないハウスクラシックスと滑らかにつなぎ合わせるProsumerのDJセットは、ある種の浄化作用のように聞く者の心を洗い流すエモーションに満ちている。Contactに2度目の出演となる今回は、Prosumerと縁が深く、Motorpoolのレジデントとしてもお馴染みDSKEに加え、10年以上もの間、ベルリンのパーティシーンで活動を続ける生粋の現場型DJであるShingo Suwaも参加。さらに別フロアでは日本発のオルタナティブ・ダンスミュージックを追求してきたKenji Takimiが異なる角度からハウスサウンドを提供する。日々の抑圧や苦しみから何度も音楽に救われたというProsumerを筆頭に、当日はDJたちが多くの笑顔をフロアへもたらしてくれるに違いない。

Ex-Panorama Bar resident Prosumer returns to Contact! With his careful selection of Chigago/New York/ Detroit house from a gargantuan vinyl collection of more than 10000 records, the German DJ has extended his influence well beyond Berlin’s Panorama Bar, where he held his residency until 2012, to every corner of the globe. Digging up forgotten disco gems and seamlessly blending them with timeless house classics, his intimate yet heart-wrenchingly beautiful sets always brim with raw emotion which acts as a catharsis that washes away the listener’s sufferings.
Stepping up to mark Prosumer’s second appearance at Contact is his close affiliate and our Motorpool resident DSKE. They are joined by Berlin-based Japanese DJ Shingo Suwa, who has carved out his reputation from the ground up with more than a decade of hands-on experience in the German capital. Offering another perspective on the sound of house music, the other floor features Kenji Takimi, an omnivorous explorer who has released Japanese leftfield dance music on his Crue-L imprint. It all adds up to a night that will leave you with both a sense of euphoria and release.
