ここ近年、世界でミニマルハウスシーンを語る上ではルーマニアという街は決して欠かせないシーンになっていることは、ここ日本のアーティストの誰もが感じていることだろう。
毎週日本のレコードショップでも、そのルーマニアのアーティストやレーベルが必ずというほど入荷され、必ずというほどその週には売り切れ状態になる。その火付け役となったレーベルが Raresh、Petre Inspirescu、Rhadoo の3名からなる [a:rpia:r] だ。
彼らがワールドワイドに台頭していく中、驚くほど若き才能が彼らに継いで生まれていった。
中でも Praslea というアーティストが取り上げられるだろう。彼はすでにルーマニアシーンでは欠かすことのできない存在であり、地元ブカレストでも幾度も Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano, Ritchie Hawtin, Zip といったビッグネームと共演を果たしていった。
そして、Gig を重ねていく間、盟友 Cezar と 「Afumati」 というプロジェクトをスタートさせ [a:rpia:r] からスプリット EP をリリース。また、彼自身と Kozo、Cezar でスタートさせたレーベル 「UNDERSTAND」 から1st EP として Raresh とのプロジェクト、Praslesh で"Out Of Time"をリリース。たったこの2枚のリリースでルーマニアだけではなく、今ではヨーロッパ各国からのオファーが絶えない存在に成長した。
Surprisingly young, Praslea is already a big name on the Romanian scene, and
one of the newcomers rocking the crowds worldwide.
His clockwork precision and smooth selection helped him gain attention time after time playing with
big names like Zip, Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano, Ritchie Hawtin, Valentino Kanzyani or Cassy to name just a few and that's not all. Guest appearances all
around the world followed shortly.Between gigs across the country or abroad Praslea finds enough time to work on the Afumati project, started around him and Cezar. Also, his first productions alongside Raresh will see the daylight on his new Understand label
under the name of Praslesh.He's definitely a perfect trace to follow, listen to and dance on.
