幼少の頃から常に音楽から離れることなく、ヘッドホンを脱ぐことがなかった。ある日、親友の持っていたターンテーブルに出会いスクラッチを始めた。 DJのキャリアをスタートさせた彼は2005～2006年韓国で最高の評価を得ている。
2004年、Jazz Funkバンド "Sweet Lime" に加入する。その頃から彼のスキルと才能がオーディエンスに伝わり始めてきた。彼は梨泰院（イテウォン）の"Bar NaNa"を再生する依頼を受け"Break Bakery"のメンバーになり正式にDJのキャリアを始めた。
ジャンルに囚われず、オールドスクールなサウンド、ファンク、ディスコ、そしてエレクトロサウンドに基づいて音楽をプレイ。彼は世界のビックアーティストAfrika Bambaataa、DJ Shadow、Cut chemist、Cold Cut、最近ではジャマイカのMc Goldteaと本物のファンキーなグルーヴを作り上げ称賛を得ている。
また、彼はファッションショー、ギャラリー、スケートイベントなど企業イベントなども手掛け、韓国の雑誌Rhythmer、Brownbreaksや毎週月曜日放送のラジオ番組MIXSHOW、Run DWCなどを手掛けるなど多彩な才能を見せている。
韓国のアンダーグラウンドから著名アーティストまで幅広く尊敬と称賛を得るDJ CONAN。韓国ダンスミュージックシーンの先駆者でありシーンを変えた最重要人物の一人である。
2005-2006, DJ CONAN got the best reputation for his playing. From his childhood he always listen music, never takes off his headphone . By accident he could meet his best friend, "turntable" and he started doing scratch. 2004, he became a member of Jazz,Funk project band "Sweet Lime", he started show his skill and his talent to the people. At the same time he got the job to play at "Bar Nana" in Itaewon. He officially started his carrier in Djing when he became the member of Break Bakery. He does not want to stay a genre, he plays music based on oldschool sound, Funk, Disco, and Electro sound. He has expierience of playing with Afrika Bambaataa, DJ Shadow, Cut chemist, Cold Cut And recently he made real funky groove with Mc Goldtea from Jamaica. Besides, he plays music at fashion show, gallery and skateboard competition party, he also plays at Rhythmer, Brownbreaks ,(web magazine), Radio show : Monday mixshow, Run DWC.
