ChunkyやFox、Krystal Klearを擁するマンチェスターサウンドの震源地パーティー「HOYA:HOYA」主催。かつ、THE WAREHOUSE PROJECTや、ロンドンのFABRICLIVE、話題のLEVELZなど、ビッグパーティーでもレジデンスを持つ実力派である。ヒップホップ、ハウスからソウルにレゲエ、ベースミュージック…と、真にエクレクティックなプレイで幅広いジャンルを横断し、BBC RADIO1、1Xtra、RINSE FM、NTS Radioなど主要ラジオ局でもスピン。自身のパーティーで共演したアクトは、Flying Lotus、Four Tet、Shackleton、Dam-Funk、Oneman、Gaslamp Killer、Ben UFO、Loefah、Hudson Mohawk、Lorn、Degoなどなど、現在のエレクトロニックミュージックの最前線の顔ぶれが並び、いかにボーダレスな感性でシーンを牽引しているかが窺い知れる。 2016年1月、LEVELZとしてBiome、Metrodome、Bricks、Chimpo、Sparkz、Skittles、Dub Phizixらのトラックを収録した”LVL 11”をBandcamp上でリリース。 LEVELZとして本国OUTLLOK、Red Bull Culture Clash in Manchesterへもラインナップされている。
Founder of Hoya:Hoya, Jonny Dub has been a dominating figure within Manchester’s creative scene for some time. He currently holds residencies at the biggest parties in the city including The Warehouse Project, Hit&Run & Levelz, as well as holds a quarterly residency with his club night Hoya at Fabric Live in London.
From Hip Hop to House, Reggae to Soul, Electronica to Grime and beyond, Jonny manages to seamlessly blend genres together with skill of a seasoned artist. He has shared the stage with the biggest names in the Underground scene, including the likes of Flying Lotus, Four Tet, Shackleton, Dam-Fun, Oneman, Gaslamp Killer, Ben UFO, Loefah, Hudson Mohawk、Lorn, Dego, MF Doom, Jurassic 5, Bonobo and Gaslamp Killer.
