オーストラリアが送る、ファンキーハウスの新星。GuestHouseMusicを始めとしたシカゴハウス第三世代レーベルよりリリースされるByronのトラック郡は、Derrick Carterを始めとするシーンの重鎮から支持されている。アンダーグランドでの活動を行いながらも、2008年にリリースされたジャズでジャイブなEP"Everybody Loves the Bongo"は、US/UKのメジャーハウスチャートで3位を獲得、その存在感をアピールした。跳ねるリズムにネタ感のある楽曲から想像できるように、そのプレイスタイルはファンキーかつジャジーであり、今回の初来日でのスピンは、フロアを大いに沸かせてくれることだろう。現在、ファーストアルバムのリリースを制作中のByron Foxxは、更なる活躍が期待される次世代DJ/Producerーの一人である。



It seems these days Byron Foxx is firing on all fronts. From a considerableapprentice as a club and radio DJ, Byron Foxx has cemented himself as aglobal player in the House music scene, most recently in the studio.



His follow up releases, the Foxx Trot EP and Everybody Loves the Bongo onGuesthouse reached the Top Ten on 3 of the major house music charts in theUS and UK, along with numerous radio appearances in Europe and the US. Witha bunch of releases in the pipeline already being played in the world'shippest house clubs such as Smartbar Chicago and a debut original album onthe way, Byron Foxx is an artist to look out for.



Over the years Byron’s countless efforts on the decks have earned him muchpraise. Byron's unique flair has seen him headline parties and leaving thecrowd wanting more.



His international experience thus far has taught him much about crowdengineering. An ardent music student himself, he likes to throw in an olddisco or swing track here and there from time to time. He believes that solong as it sounds good and funky, it should be played.
