PLASTIC CITY PARTY

絶えず進化し構造化し続ける人種のジャングル、ブラジル。その大都市サン・パウロにある世界最大のアジア系移民街 リベルダーデ を舞台とした映画 『プラスティック・シティ 』の公開を祝して、ブラジルと東京、両国のポップカルチャーやファッションを音楽と共に楽しむクロスカルチャー・パーティーを開催! 1999年に設立したストリートブランド LUZ を通じ、トライバルタトゥを一躍日本で有名にするなど、ファッション界では日系ブラジル人の元祖兄貴的存在である松井JUNが『プラスティック・シティ 』の登場人物に施されたタトゥを手掛けたことから、彼の弟分であるDJ WASH、DIEGO、WALTERとJUNの弟EIJIが、これまた多民族が夜な夜な集まるル・バロンを熱気溢れる音楽で盛り上げる。



Constantly evolving, reconstructing itself the racial jungle Brazil. The metropolis Sao Paolo is home to largest population of Asian immigrants, the Riberdarte . Their community is the focus of the new movie Plastic City, the release of which we celebrate at Le Baron with a cross-cultural party celebrating the pop culture, fashion and music of Tokyo and Sao Paolo. The DJs are headed up by DJ Wash, who is the prot?g? of Jun Matsui, the Nikkei Brazilian founder of street brand Luz and the tattoo artist behind the ink worn by the characters in the movie. Also behind the decks are Diego, Walter and Jun Matsui younger brother Eiji.

これまでの監督作である2作が共にカンヌ国際映画祭に出品を果たし、高い評価を得てきたユー・リクウァイ監督待望の長編3作目となる『PLASTIC CITY プラスティック・シティ』。本年度のベネチア国際映画祭コンペティション部門正式招待作品にも選ばれ、多くの注目を集めた。主演は日本を代表するオダギリジョー。オールブラジルロケを敢行したことでも話題の本作では、全編をポルトガル語&中国語で演じるという新たなる境地に挑んだ。共演は香港からアジア、ハリウッドへと活躍の場を広げる「インファナル・アフェア」のアンソニー・ウォン。3月14日(土)より、ヒューマントタストシネマ渋谷、新宿バルト9ほか全国順次ロードショー!

The third film from director Yu Rikuway, whose two previous productions were both shown at the Cannes Film Festival, this movie was an official invitee at this year Venice Film Festival and has won high praise from many quarters. The star is top Japanese actor Joe Odagiri. Shot entirely in Brazil, it is notable for the fact that all the dialogue is in Portuguese and Chinese. Also appearing is Anthony Wong, the star of hit Hong Kong movie Infernal Affairs . The movie is released on March 14th and can be seen at Human Totasto Cinema Shibuya and Shinjuku Balto 9 among many theatres nationwide.
