今夜のu-tunes & The Thursdayはスゴイんです!avex20周年を記念して結成された、大沢伸一、田中知之、☆Taku Takahashi御三家ユニットravexやRyukyu Diskoらが出演するオールナイトイベントcosmosの前夜祭に絡んで、そのravex待望初のアルバム『trax』の完成記念を一気にお祝いです。

Mondo Grossoの大沢伸一、Fantastic Plastic Machineの田中知之、m-floの☆Taku Takahashiによるavex20周年を記念したプロデュースユニット。「ダンスミュージックとJ-POPの新しい融合」、「21世紀のJ-POP」を提案し、手塚治虫生誕80周年の手塚プロダクションとコラボレーションするなど、その活動が注目されてきた。4月29日にはavexより、安室奈美恵、土屋アンナ、BOA、東方神起などをフィーチャーした初のアルバム『trax』もリリース。CD+DVD盤に収録されるオリジナル・アニメーション「ravex in TEZUKA WORLD」ではなんとアトムが復活!さらに、新キャラクター<ラトム>やブラック・ジャックの新キャラである〈スペース・ジャック〉も登場も登場、手塚ファンには必見の内容となっている。
Shinichi Osawa of Mondo Grosso, Tomoyuki Tanaka of Fantastic plastic Machine and ☆Taku Takahashi of m-flo combine forces to celebrate the 20th anniversary of avex by creating a special unit called ravex. With the aim of creating "A new fusion of J-pop and dance music" or "21st century J-pop", they will release an album called Trax on April 29th, which features artists including Namie Amuro, Anna Tsuchiya, Boa and Toho Shinki. There is also a DVD created collaboration with Tezuka Productions to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the birth of Osamu Tezuka, among other exciting projects. Tezuka fans will be excited to learn that there are new version of the hallowed Atom and Black Jack characters also slated to be revealed.
