This night continues the celebratory atmosphere with a party for Le Baron de Paris founding member and CEO of Tokyo's leading music production firm Syn Entertainment Nick Wood, who is 45 years young.



DJ MAAR (DEXPISTOLS)

若干18歳にして芝浦GOLDでプレイしたという生きる伝説DJ。ファッションブランドROC STARのメインデザイナーDJ DARUMAとのユニットDEPISTOLSでは、4台のCDJをサンプラーや楽器のように操るスタイルを時に披露。エレクトロ・ダンス・ミュージックを軸に、ルーツであるヒップホップ、パンク、ロック、レゲエの要素を絶妙に落とし込みフロアをジャンプアップさせる。

Since he began spinning at the legendary club Gold in Tokyo at the age of 18, DJ Maar has been building a reputation as one of Japan's most important music talents. The unit he forms in partnership with DJ Daruma, the designer of fashion brand ROC STAR, is called DEXPISTOLS, and the pair use four CDJ machines and samplers to create their sound, which is electro mixed with hip hop, punk rock and reggae.

同世代DJの中でも高い人気を誇るDirk Biteは2007年、「Pub Rocker Acid Disco DJ of the Year Award」(PRADYA)を創設し、混迷を極める多くのエントリーの中、疑う余地無く勝者となった。そして、Samurai.fmの創設者である盟友 HASHと共に、フリー・ジャズサックスプレイヤーであるフランク・フォスターのスピリチュアル・グルーヴ名曲を冠した精鋭たるDJ集団LOUD MINORITYを立ち上げた。

Known for tearing apart dancefloors at pop hot spot Le Baron de Paris and occasionally elsewhere, Dirk Bite plays disco, electro, rock 'n' rave and a whole bunch of shit besides. He surfs the fantastic firmament of disco to outer regions of the sonic universe and brings it back a dancefloor-vaporizing sound at an hour your momma would be just starting to water the pot plants.
