米玩具メーカー、Mattelの共同創始者エリオット・ハンドラーの娘にちなんで名付けられたバービー人形が、1959年にNY国際玩具見本市で初めて披露されてから今年で50年。バービーに引けをとらない東京女子を撮らせたら右に出るもの無しのチェキフォトグラファー、YONEこと米原康正も今年で御年 50歳!!これってちょっと運命的!?今年のお誕生日を盛り上げるのは東京を代表するガールズDJ。YONEちゃんの半世紀をみんなで一緒に祝おう!!

Barbie, named after the daughter of Elliot Handler, one of the team that created it at US toy maker Mattel, was first unveiled at a toy fair in 1959, making her 50 this year. Also celebrating a 50th birthday in 2009 is another cult figure: cheki photographer Yone, famed for his titillating documentation of the women of Tokyo. With an all-female DJ lineup, expect plenty of long-legged dolls at this event!



■YONE a.k.a 米原 康正

1959年5月20日生まれ。御年50歳!!修正効かずのポラロイドで、女子専科を常として、被写体の素をリアルに写し出すチェキフォトグラファー YONEこと米原康正。修正要らずなYONEの記念すべき50歳の誕生日を祝いに、東京中のパーティーピープル、クリエイティブ業界を支える人人人が大集結する一夜。今年もYONEちゃんの熱唱に乞うご期待!

YONE a.k.a Yasumasa Yonehara

Born on May 20th, 1959, Yone is 50 years old. Famed for his depictions of women on cheki-type Polaroid film, Yone has become a cult figure both in Japan and, increasingly, overseas. Celebrating half a century of existence, Yone will bring a wide array of Tokyo party people and people from the creative community together for a night of mayhem!



■DJ Sarasa

横浜生まれN.Y.育ち。2002年よりカナダのラジオ局でDJを務める。2005年に帰国し、映画「Block Party

」「RIZE」の国内プロモーションに携わる。スクラッチ要素とブレイクダンスを取り入れたパフォーマンスDJは国境を越え、ストリートからフォーマルなパーティーまであらゆるシーンに対応。流行に敏感な10代の若者から往年のディスコ世代の50代に至るまで、常に幅広い年齢層から支持を得ている。

DJ Sarasa

Born in Yokohama and raised in NYC, Sarasa began working as a radio DJ in Canada in 2002. She returned to Japan in 2005, and was involved in the promotion of movies "Block Party" and "RIZE". Her DJ sets have a performance element incorporating scratching and breakdance, and have a cosmopolitan. She is very versatile, and has a broad fan base ranging from fashion-conscious teens to former disco animals in their 50s.



■KYOKO (XXX)

小柄で可愛らしいルックスとは裏腹に、鮮やかなレコードさばきでパワフル且つバキバキのELECTROを奏でるKYOKO。'03年にDJ活動を開始後、年間50本に及ぶパーティーで国内外のアーティストと共に東京のフロアを踊らせ続けている。トーキョーガールズエレクトロパーティー [XXX]のオーガナイズ、オリジナルトラック制作等、音楽への愛から日々活動の場を広げている。

KYOKO (XXX)

Don't be fooled by her cute looks ? DJ Kyoko spins a banging jump-up electro set. Active as a DJ since 2003, she does over 50 gigs per year and has played alongside some top names from Japan and abroad. She is the organizer of Tokyo girls electro party XXX and is working on making tracks of her own.



■DJ ALYN

スローな性格とは裏腹な不良電子音を奏で、エレクトロ、テクノ、ハウス、ヒップホップなど、「いろんな意味で心に響く曲」をキーワードとした選曲スタイルで国内外の様々なビッグアーティストと競演し続けている。Warp Magazine女性DJ特集にPIC UPされるなど、話題のパーティーガール。

DJ ALYN

Playing a dirty mix of electro, techno, house and hip-hop that starkly contrasts with her slow personality, Alyn is a hot property on the Tokyo party scene. She plays tracks that evoke an emotional response and has played with various artists from Japan and abroad. She was recently featured in an article on female DJs in Warp Magazine.
