Dandy Night is held in celebrating the release of club jazz compilation "Cool Forest compiled by Nils Krogh&Dealers of Nordic Music - DNM in Stockholm" and features a special menu from king of champagnes Dom Perignon and a DJ set from DNM label owner Jakob Lusensky. It's going to a be a luxurious night attended by a legion of finely attired dandy types. The event will also feature a display of images by Tokyo's very own resident dandy photographer Aram Dikiciyan, who was responsible for the jacket of the CD. Strictly for a sophisticated crowd, if you're ready to dress to impress please come and enjoy the elegant atmosphere with bottles of delicious Dom Perignon vintage 2000.

COOL FOREST compiled by Nils Krogh & Dealers of Nordic Music

Scandinavia has become the hub of the European club jazz scene, and the most important label for the genre is Dealers of Nordic Music (DNM), whose star player Nils Krogh has put together the exciting new compilation Cool Forest. Inspired by Scandinavian forests, create deep sounds. The recording artists are the top players from the northern countries' cutting-edge jazz world. The lineup includes many of the biggest names in club jazz: Italian jazz legend Nicola Conte; Kube; Hild; Yukka Escobar, who is a member of The Five Corners Quintet; and Nils Krogh himself. This album serves as a great induction for newcomers to the genre and will be a must-have for club jazz fans.



■Jakob Lusensky(ジェイコブ・ルーセンスキー)

Dealers of Nordic Music(以下DNM)レーベル創設者の一人。現在はレーベル・マネジャーを務める。Nordic Musicはスカンジナビアにおけるニュージャズ、ハウス、ブロークンビーツのジャンルで特にクオリティーの高い音楽に重点を置いている。独特のテイストで、ニュージャズ、ハウス、ラウンジミュージック、そしてレフトフィールドビーツを織り交ぜた彼のDJスタイルは、ラウンジであろうとダンスフロアであろうと、観客を踊りに誘う。

Jakob Lusensky

One of the founders of the prodigiously successful Dealers of Nordic Music (DNM), Jakob currently works as the label's manager. DNM releases best of new jazz, house and broken beats from highly rated Scandinavian artists. With a highly refined sensibility, Lusensky's DJ style incorporates new jazz, house, lounge music and leftfield beats which are sure to captivate any crowd.



■Aram Dikiciyan(アラム・ディキチヤン)

1974年ドイツ・ベルリン生まれ。ベルリンのアートカルチャー雑誌 LODOWN MAGAZINEでフォトエディター兼フォトグラファーとして活躍した後にフリーランスに。2004年スティール・ライフ・フォトグラフィー・オブ・ザ・イヤーにてブロンズ賞を受賞。2004年より東京を拠点にし、ファッションや広告の世界で活躍中。世界中で個展を開催するほか、ポエムや文筆なども発表するなど多彩な活動を展開している。

Aram Dikiciyan

Born in Berlin in 1974, Aram Dikiciyan worked as the photo editor and resident photographer of LOWDOWN magazine before launching going freelance in 2003. After winning a Still Life Photography of The Year award in Berlin in 2004, he moved to Tokyo where he was commissioned to create images by fashion labels and other commercial clients while continuing to pursue his art photography. He has held exhibitions of his work in Tokyo, Hong Kong, LA and Berlin.
