ファッションと音楽の融合により類まれな狂気と幼想の世界観を生み出す、実験的イベントHOWL NIGHT改め、裏HOWL NIGHT。裏版2度目となる今回は、スタイリス兼ショップオーナーの望月唯率いるRETOROのライブを中心に、一万枚を超える所蔵レコードの中から選ぶ多彩な選曲で独特の雰囲気作りに定評のあるDJ YOGURT、稀代の演出家辻井宏昌など、東京のファッションシーンを担うメンバーがLe Baronに集う。
Born of a fusion of fashion and music, this incomparable madness and childlike vision worldview experimental event Howl Night has been reinvented as Ura Howl Night. This, the second of these nights since the re-branding, features a live performance from Retoro, the band led by stylist and store owner Tadashi Mochizuki; an eclectic and characteristically curious set from DJ Yoghurt, who boats a collection of over 10,000 records; and a contribution from respected event producer Hiromasa Tsujii. Numerous members of Tokyo's fashion scene are sure to be in attendance, so please come and join the fun!
■望月唯 (Mochizuki Tadashi)
スタイリスト井嶋和男氏に師事。94年スタイリストとして独立。2002年に自身プロデュースのセレクトショップRICOを代官山にオープン。2004年 6月に行われた六本木スパイラルでのKITSUNEとの共演イベントに1000人以上を動員するなど、ファッションはもちろん音楽にも造詣が深い。ファッション雑誌の他、広告や写真集のスタイリング、ミュージシャンやタレントのCDジャケットも手掛ける。
Tadashi Mochizuki
Born in Shizuoka Prefecture in 1969, Tadashi Mochizuki apprenticed under Yoshio Ishima before going solo in 1994 and opening the cult boutique RICO in Daikanyama in 2002. He is famed for his knowledge of music and for attracting over 1,000 people to an event he did in 2004 with Kitsune at Spiral in Roppongi. His work appears in numerous fashion magazines as well as advertising campaigns, books, and CD jackets.
■DJ YOGURT
90年にSecond Summer of Loveに衝撃を受けアジア〜ヨーロッパを放浪。96年からDJ活動開始。2006年06年にはFLOWER OF LIFEやRAW LIFE等、大小50以上のPARTYに参加、07年も11月末で既に50以上のPARTYに参加している。
DJ YOGURT
Having been inspired by 1990's "Second Summer of Love", DJ Yoghurt began traveling across Asia and Europe. He began his DJ career in 1996 and by 2006 was behind the FLOWER OF LIFE and RAW LIFE events. By November 2007 he had played in over 50 events.
■辻井 宏昌 (Tsujii Hiromasa)
ファッションイベント企画会社DRUMCAN inc.所属。パリ、ニューヨーク、東京を拠点に、国内外問わず数多くのファッションショーやパーティーの演出を手掛けるイベントプロデューサー。演出に欠かせない選曲や本人自らDJを務めるなど、海外でも高く評価されている。
