■THE NOBIS

エレキテルとエミからなるエレクトロ・ポップ・ユニット、THE NOBIS。PCから繰り出すダンス・ビートに合わせ、EMIが日本語と英語を使い分けて歌うという、超個性的ステージングを披露する。2008年には、パリ郊外にあるブローニュの森で開催された「DIESEL:U:MUSIC 2008 & DIESEL XXX」にも出演した期待の新人。

THE NOBIS

The Nobis is an electro pop unit made up of Elekiteru and Emi. Their unique performances with Emi singing in both English and Japanese to computerized dance beats consistently draw standing-room only audiences. Having played at both DIESEL:U:MUSIC and DIESEL XXX in 2008, they are definitely an act to watch in the future.

■Beat Respect (JOHN WAYNNE / WILL2LIVE)

90年代のアメリカレイブシーンが生み出した天才Will2liveと、若干24歳にしてJ-POPをリードする売れっ子音楽プロデューサーでもあるDJ John Wayyneが2005年に出会い、サウンド・コラボレーションとして始めたDJユニット。ダンスミュージックを愛する全ての人が、音楽的にも文化的にもジャンルレスに楽しめるパーティーを目指している。マンスリーイベント『Beat Respect』では、Hip Hop・Reggae・Deep Houseでスローに夜が始まり、Bumpin・Bouncin・Climbinなチューンへと展開、徐々にフロアを盛り上げていく。渋谷Ruby Roomを皮切りに、AIR、WOMB、Warehouse、Velours、La Fabrique、Rock Westなどの都内有名クラブでも大成功を収めている。

In May 2005, leader of the '90s US rave scene Will2live met 24-year-old J-Pop producer DJ John Waynne and began a sound collaboration-cum-DJ unit. For all people who love dance music, this is set to be a cultural moment as the monthly event Beat Respect comes to Le Baron de Paris for a special of genre-crossing, bumping, bouncing and climbing tunes.
