86年に藤原ヒロシとのユニット「タイニー・パンクス」を本格始動するのと同時期に、次々とクラブがオープンし、まさにブームの火付け役であり渦中の人となる。88年には日本初のヒップホップ・レーベル、メジャー・フォースを中西俊夫、屋敷豪太、KUDO、藤原ヒロシらと設立。スチャダラパーのデビュー作『スチャダラ大作戦』のプロデュースを成功させた。パンク出身から日本のヒップホップ牽引者の1人としてシーンを盛り上げると同時にその両方の精神とスタイルを以って独自の高木完スタイルを築いている。

Kan Takagi

Founded the unit Tiny Punks with Hiroshi Fujiwara in 1986, and at the same time many clubs opened in Japan with Takagi cited as the man who started the boom. In 1988 he founded Japans first ever hip hop label Major Force with Toshio Nakamura, Gouta Yashiki, KUDO, and Hiroshi Fujiwara. He was the producer behind hip hop group Scha Dara Parr s hit debut album "Scha Dara Parr s Big Strategy". From a punk background he went to being the leading figure in the Japanese hip hop scene and is a legendary figure in the music world.



■ダビ・ベルジェ(Davy Bergier / Only Music)

Davy a.k.a DVD, BeacklerもしくはYoka。10年以上のキャリアを持つスタジオ・ミュージシャン、コンポーザー、プロデューサー、そしてDJ。本国フランスで90年代にDJを始め、幅広い音楽をバックグラウンドに、そのスタイルはクラシックロック、エレクトロ、ブローケンビート、ミッドテンポへと広がる。DJ プロデューサーとして 初期 "HOTEL COSTES" シリーズ等、プレミアムコンピレーションを手がける。ミュージシャンとしては、巨匠Jimmy Cliffのギタリストとしてツアーに参加。Stphane Pompougnacの楽曲のリミックスを手掛け、マグレブ移民音楽のDjam & Famのサウンドをプロデュース。日本のTVCMではタイアップで使用された楽曲『I Could Be More Happy』が話題となり、それがきっかけでKINGレコードよりアルバムをリリース。日本での活動に注目が集まっている。

Davy Bergier

With a background in classical music, Davy Bergier has become a key figure on the Parisian music scene through his work as musician, arranger, composer, DJ and co-founder of Only Music. He has also worked as A&R for the Pschent Music & Hotel Costes compilation series, as selector and producer for Hugo Boss France, as music director for the Graham luxury watch brand, and music consultant to Style-Jam, Private Sound and Desco Luxury. Bergier has composed over 400 tracks, including for original music for TV commercials, corporate movies, documentaries and TV program opening themes. He has produced and mixed premium compilations, and remixed worldwide artists including Stephane Pompougnac. He has also done the sound for dance performances, arts exhibitions and even a book for interior designer Tony Lemle.



■ジェイ・シンマーマン(Jay Zimmerman)

ソウルフル・ハウスからトライバルやパーカッシブ・サウンド、さらにはテックハウスまで、律動的で複雑かつファンキーなスタイルをもつJZ。ピークタイムの2時間でも、6時間にも及ぶロングセットでもいつ何時でも観衆を沸かせるJZの力量は、サンフランシスコのパーティーピープルにとってはお馴染み。シスコのSpundae@1015 FolsomやDNA Lounge、マイアミのWMCではレジデントDJを務め、ロサンジェルスのSpundae Circus、シンガポールのZouk、イビサのPacha、ブエノスアイレスのOpera Bayなど、世界有数のクラブでプレイし続けている。

Jay Zimmerman

As Dano s partner-in-crime at Red Melon, JZ seamlessly weaves rhythmic intricacies of varied (but always funky) musical styles ranging from the deepest of soulful house, through tribal and percussive barnstormers, all the way to the progressive sounds of tech-house and beyond as his diverse personal taste always shines through.
