クラブイベントの新潮流。その名はEDGE。DJの皆さんならご存知のカッティング・エッジからネーミングされた新イベントは、玄人も唸る先鋭的な音楽で訪れる人々の五感を刺激する。記念すべき第一回目のDJには高木完、増田啓晃、KOJIRO、DIEGO、RYOといった個性派メンバーが集結。また、今回グラフィック・ライブでNAOKIが初登場。最良と最高を熟知したメンバーが Le Baron De Paris を舞台に、音楽の本質に迫るクールでハッピーな一夜を演出する。

A new type of club event: Its name is EDGE. Taken from the expression "cutting edge", the masterful DJs playing this party will play you some truly mind-expanding sounds and create an experience that will stimulate your sense. For this, the inaugural event, we have none other than the legendary Kan Takagi, Hiroaki Masuda, KOJIRO, DIEGO and RYO. There will also be a live graphics performance from Naoki. With this amazing lineup, and top quality sounds, Le Baron De Paris is sure to be one hell of a cool and happy place tonight!



■高木完

86年に藤原ヒロシとのユニット「タイニー・パンクス」を本格始動するのと同時期に、次々とクラブがオープンし、まさにブームの火付け役であり渦中の人となる。88年には日本初のヒップホップ・レーベル、メジャー・フォースを中西俊夫、屋敷豪太、KUDO、藤原ヒロシらと設立。スチャダラパーのデビュー作『スチャダラ大作戦』のプロデュースを成功させた。パンク出身から日本のヒップホップ牽引者の1人としてシーンを盛り上げると同時にその両方の精神とスタイルを以って独自の高木完スタイルを築いている。

Founded the unit Tiny Punks with Hiroshi Fujiwara in 1986, and at the same time many clubs opened in Japan with Takagi cited as the man who started the boom. In 1988 he founded Japans first ever hip hop label Major Force with Toshio Nakamura, Gouta Yashiki, KUDO, and Hiroshi Fujiwara. He was the producer behind hip hop group Scha Dara Parr s hit debut album 'Scha Dara Parr s Big Strategy'. From a punk background he went to being the leading figure in the Japanese hip hop scene and is a legendary figure in the music world.



■Hiroaki Masuda (CAUSE)

CAUSE主宰。シューズデザイナーというカテゴリーにとらわれず自由な発想を持ち合わせ、最近では国内外問わず様々な人気ブランドとのコラボレーションを果たす一方で、デザイン企画やイベントプロデュースなど多方面でも活躍中。また、90年初頭から始めたDJとしても頭角を現し、ハウスミュージックをベースにソウル、ジャズ、ダブを織り交ぜたプレイでダンスフロアを心地良い空間に作り上げる。

Hiroaki Masuda is the man behind sneakers brand CAUSE, but he's much more than just a shoe designer. Recently he has been orchestrating various collaborations with popular brands from Japan and overseas as well as designing for other firms and producing events. Masuda has been DJing since the early '90s. His sound is rooted in house music, but also incorporates soul, jazz and dub to create a sophisticated vibe that never fails to move the crowd.



■KOJIRO (Fragment)

「Fragment Design」所属。「メローマッドネス」をはじめミロスガレージ時代の「FAMILY」から藤原ヒロシ氏のサポートDJとして長年のキャリアを持つ。自身でも定期的に都内でプレイし、地方からのオファーも多い。

Spinning a mix of hip hop, breaks and electro, Kojiro is a hot property on the DJ scene in Tokyo right now. His recent gigs have included the launch of street culture magazine The New Order, as well as parties supported by Adidas, Vice and 55DSL.



■DIEGO

2002年、Mr. High Fashion誌のVivienne Westwood特集にてモデルデビュー。今もなおモデルとして第一線で活躍中。2006年に友人達とはじめたパーティ・イベント『Young Lovers』での成功をきっかけに、多数のファッション系パーティーでDJを務める。その後、モデルのエリー・ローズDJユニットVan Cliffe.Dを結成。エレクトロ、ロック、ニューウェーブといった幅広いジャンルで人気を集めている。

Diego made his modeling debut in 2002 in a feature on Vivienne Westwood in Mr. High Fashion magazine. He is still a popular model to this day, but also works as a DJ, playing fashion parties and club nights on a regular basis, occasionally alongside model Elli-Rose, with whom he performs under the name Van Cliffe D.
