10月に開催される『ブラジル映画祭2009』に先駆け、9月17日から23日まで新宿バルト9で開催される『第6回ラテンビート映画祭』。スペインをはじめ、ブラジル、メキシコ、チリなどの名作を紹介するこの映画祭は、過去にギレルモ・デロ・トロ監督の衝撃的な傑作『パンズ・ラビリンス』をいち早く上映するなど、ラテン諸国映画界の現状を伝えることでは定評のあるイベント!(ちなみにこの映画、パッケージはおとぎ話風ですがR指定。美しくもありかなり残酷で、ショッキングなキャラクターも登場し、希望のないエンディングでリアルな痛みが残りますが、オススメです!)今年は2009年の米アカデミー賞外国語映画賞でメキシコ代表に選ばれた『命を燃やして』や、ゴヤ賞で作品賞をはじめ5冠を獲得した衝撃作『カミーノ』、 スペ? ??ンのアイドル俳優たちが総出演し本国で大ヒットを記録した群像ドラマ『セックスとパーティーと嘘』など全12作品が上映されます。上映作品の監督や俳優が集うALL LATIN MIXのパーティー。シルバーウィーク(プラチナウィークと呼びたいところ)前の金曜日、Le Baron de Parisの華やかなラテンワールドをお楽しみ下さい!
As a precursor to the 2009 Brazilian Film Festival, from September 17th to the 23rd the 6th Latin Beat Film Festival will be held at Shinjuku Balt 9. Introducing masterpieces from Spain, Brazil, Mexico, and Chile, this film festival is known for reporting the state of the Latino film industry, notably with the world premiere of the work of legendary director Guillermo Del Toro, who drew strong reviews and solid ticket sales for El Laberinto del Fauno (Pan's Labyrinth). (In case you didn't know, this film is a beautiful and dark fairy tale with mind-blowing characters and a bleak ending guaranteed to give you nightmares and leave you feeling disturbed but still comes highly recommended!) This year 12 films will be shown, including Arr?ncame la vida (Tears Heat Out), the official Academy Awards entry for 2009 Best Foreign-Language category, Javier Fesser's mystical drama "Camino", which won 6 Goya awards, and the massive hit film Mentiras Y Gordas (Sex, Party and L ies), which featured appearances by nearly every iconic Spanish movie star. J-WAVEの開局から続く長寿番組「SAUDE! SAUDADE…」のプロデュース&選曲をはじめ音楽番組の制作、ブラジル音楽を中心にレコーディング、コンサート、イベントのプロデュースやコーディネート、ステージ構成・演出、コンピレーションCDの選曲などを行う。DJ、MC、カルチャーセンター講師、ライターとしても活躍。
The producer of long-running J-WAVE radio program SAUDE! SAUDADE… Nakahara is Japan's leading expert on Brazilian music. He helps out with various recording, concerts and events as well as overseeing various compilation CDs. He is also active as a DJ, MC, writer and cultural ambassador.

1977年生まれ。パーカッショニスト。DJ・MC。本場リオのカーニバルを経験すること11年。ブラジル大使館公認の本格派。NHK教育テレビ語学講座『テレビでスペイン語』レギュラー出演。またMTV Japanでもメイン司会やナレーション、コーディネーターや番組企画などを手掛ける。
Born in 1977, KTa☆Brasil is a percussionist, DJ and MC. He has been participating in the legendary Rio Carnival for 11 straight years and is endorsed by the Brazilian Embassy. He is a regular member of the cast of the NHK educational program Learn Spanish through TV and does narration and presenting as well as producing on MTV Japan.
