In Japan, a dry martini made with gin and vermouth, is very common. Apparently there are over 300 martini recipes in the world. White cacao, vodka, cocoa powder is used to make a chocolate martini. In 007 movie Casino Royale, Daniel Craig also tries a Vesper Martini. The way to is made is three measures of Gordon's gin, one measure of vodka and half a measure of Lillet, shake for 10 minutes, garnish with lemon and serve in a champagne glass. ■Silva / シルバ

歌手として98年に『SACHI』でデビュー。以降、バラエティ、ドラマ、ラジオ、舞台といった幅広いフィールドで活躍しながら、デザイナーとしての一面も見せる多才な歌姫。現在はニューヨークを拠点にDJとして活動する傍ら、音楽製作も手掛ける。ハウスミュージックを中心に、ブレイクビーツやヒップホップ、R&B、テクノを織り交ぜた独特のDJスタイルで、時にヘッドセットマイクでのヴォーカルパフォーマンスもこなす。

Made her debut under the name SACHI in 1998. Since then, variety, dramas, radio show, stage and many other fields she has been active. And as a designer she is multi-talented. Currently, as a DJ based in NY 傍ら、she is making and producing music. Based on house music, breakbeats and hip hop, R&B and techno are all mixed together to make for a highly original DJ style, which she occasionally punctuates with vocals sung into a headset mic.



■GUI / ギィ

本名Guilherme Martinez de Carvalho。ブラジルとイギリスをバックグラウンドにもつ。グラフィックデザインを学んだ後、フォトグラファーへと転向。2004年、サンパウロで映画『Drained』と何本かのテレビコマーシャルに出演。フリーランスのカメラマン、モデルとして2005年来日。2007年、場所をイギリスに移しアート・ディレクターのウィリアム・ベイカーに師事。以降サンパウロ、ロンドン、東京を舞台に活躍。

Guilherme Martinez de Carvalho, raised between Brazil and England, started his career as a graphic designer and eventually went on to become a photographer. He appeared in the film "Drained" and some TV commercials as a model in Sao Paulo in 2004 and then moved to Tokyo in 2005 as a model and freelance photographer. In 2007, he moved to London to work with art director William Baker, and ever since he has been working between Sao Paulo, London and Tokyo.



■DJ DAS MOTH / DJ ダス・モス

圧倒的なエレクトロパンクサウンドを武器に、オーストラリアのインディーで不動の人気を誇ったバンドDamn Arms(ダム・アームズ)の元ベース&ボーカル。この夏、オーバー・ドーズ気味の東京パーティーシーンに拠点を移し、ティム・サリバン率いるクルー DAS MOTHとともに、7月からはLe Baronで新しいクラブイベント『TOKIO DISKO』を始動。

Formerly bassist and vocalist of Australian indie band Damn Arms, Tim Sullivan began a new project Das Moth, with help from his friends and family. A new club event, TOKIO DISKO by Das Moth was lunched at Le Baron de Paris in summer 2009.
