2010年1月20日にDEXPISTOLESから満を期してドロップされた待望の新作『LESSON.06 "ROC TRAX JAM"』がヤバい!東京発・世界基準なクリエーター2人が今年さらに飛躍する!彼らのレーベルROC TRAXに所属するDJ達が一堂に揃うこの新作リリース・アフター・パーティー。今夜は、世界に誇るトウキョウ新生代が奏でる音に触れるチャンス!

■デックスピストルズ
2005 年よりageHaのレジデントDJを務め、リミキサー、プロデューサーとしても活躍するDJ MAARと、ファッションブランドROC TRAXのメインデザイナーとしても活躍するDJ DARUMAによる2ピースDJバンドDEXPISTOLS。エレクトロを軸にヒップホップ、ロック、ハウスなどを絶妙にミックスしたDJスタイルで、ニューエレクトロなダンスミュージックを牽引する。

■カンゴ
1993 年よりDJ活動をスタート。毎週火曜日にハーレムで開催されるモンスターパーティーRED ZONE では幅広い選曲とミックスセンスでヒップホップDJとしての地位を確立している。現在はROC TRAXのメンバーで、ヒップホップだけにとどまらないジャンルレスなスタイルで人気を集めている。音楽製作の傍ら、ラジオやTVなどに出演、多岐に渡って活躍。また、ダンスチームROOTS(ルーツ)のメンバーとして、日本のハウスダンスを支えている。

■ゲインズ
ハウスのバックグラウンドを持つKIBOOと、ヒップホップのバックグラウンドを持つKOBOOによる双子DJユニット。90年代から東京のクラブシーンを中心に活動を開始。当初は別々にプレイしていたが、99年に来日したCASSIUSのDJに衝撃を受け、その頃より二人でDJブースに立つようになる。数多くのセッションを重ね独自のスタイルを確立。2008年にROC TRAXからリリースされた『BBB dance -Brilliant Big Boys dance feat. BIG-O & TEKI LATEX』は国内外で高く評価され、KAZEY、Kitsuneなど世界の一流DJのプレイリストにも加えられた。またINSTITUBESのDJ Orgasmic aka Orgaga、T&A、DRESS 2 SWEATのDJ P.O.L.STYLEによりREMIXされた。DJ/プロデューサー/リミキサーとしてROC TRAXに所属。

■DJ ヤン
DIESELと55DSLのパーティーでDJを担当。伝説のハウスダンスチームROOTSの一員として培ったハウス魂と幼稚園時代からのロック魂で、ダーティーながらもロマンティックなエレクトロハウスミュージックでフロアごと揺らす。現在ROC TRAX所属。

ジョミー (55DSL)
55DSL のプレス、アーバンカルチャー、ファッション、ストリートなどのシーンを自在にクロスオーバーする神出鬼没なDJ。ヒップホップ精神に基づきエレクトロ、ダンス、ハウス、クラシックス、B-MOREなどをユニークにミックスしたパーティー感あるDJセットでバリエーション豊かにフィットさせる音の魔術師。

■DEXPISTOLS
Tokyo's leading electro DJ unit DEXPISTOLS, the combination of DJ Maar and DJ Daruma. The artists from their label, Roc Trax gather to mark the beginning of a new movement in the city. This is a night for some sophisticated fun with a hip hop and electro soundtrack. Harajuku legend Kiri and the drag force of millennium Tokyo

■KANGO
DJ Kango began his career as a DJ in 1993 after travelling to New York in 1992 and experiencing the club scene. Broadening his mix sense at the monster party Red Zone in Harlem every Tuesday he has established a commanding position in the hip hop DJ fraternity, and has played alongside many top overseas artists at most of Japan's leading venues. He also works as a producer and on production for radio and TV. He is also noteworthy as a member of dance team ROOTS, and is an originator of the Japanese house dance style.

■GAINES
Twins Kiboo (who specializes in house) and Koboo (who is a hip hop devotee) combine forces to create Gaines. Working with PCs and midi controllers, their back-to-back DJ style has Tokyo's fickle club scene enthralled. They have produced music for numerous cable and network TV commercials and are kicking up a storm on the Roc Trax label as DJs and producers.

■YAN
Resident DJ at DIESEL and 55DSL Japan parties, DJ Yan is uniquely favored by fashionistas as well as party people of Tokyo. His eclectic Dirty and Romantic Electro House Music sets root from his house background that he developed as a member of the legendary house dance team "ROOTS" mixed with his rock background which grew on him as a child. Well-known not only for his DJing, but also for his production work.
