今や伝説と化したヒップホップグループのフロントマンとして名を馳せ、リアルヒップホップシーンの拡大に貢献した立役者。ソロデビュー後も常にトップの座に君臨し続け、その音楽性の高さや技術、スマートなスタイルと存在感により男女を問わずリスナーの間でカリスマ的存在となっているヒップホップアクティビスト。

■ゲインズ (KIBOO & KOBOO)
ハウスのバックグラウンドを持つKIBOOと、ヒップホップのバックグラウンドを持つKOBOOによる双子DJユニット。90年代から東京のクラブシーンを中心に活動を開始。当初は別々にプレイしていたが、99年に来日したCASSIUSのDJに衝撃を受け、その頃より二人でDJブースに立つようになる。数多くのセッションを重ね独自のスタイルを確立。2008年にROC TRAXからリリースされた『BBB dance -Brilliant Big Boys dance feat. BIG-O & TEKI LATEX』は国内外で高く評価され、KAZEY、Kitsuneなど世界の一流DJのプレイリストにも加えられた。またINSTITUBESのDJ Orgasmic aka Orgaga、T&A、DRESS 2 SWEATのDJ P.O.L.STYLEによりREMIXされた。DJ/プロデューサー/リミキサーとしてROC TRAXに所属。

■ホーム・カット
2004 年に自身がオーガナイズするディスカッション形式のイベント“Edit Conference”にてデビュー。ヒップホップをベースにその技法を取り入れ、クラフトワークからソウル、ロック、テクノ、ラテン、ディスコ、ドラクエまで、あらゆるジャンルを自在にミックスしたリアルタイムエディットDJ。各レコードを20秒から30秒間隔でさばき、およそ30分のDJで60枚以上のレコードが飛び交う様は圧巻。

■ジョミー (55DSL)
55DSL のプレス、アーバンカルチャー、ファッション、ストリートなどのシーンを自在にクロスオーバーする神出鬼没なDJ。ヒップホップ精神に基づき、エレクトロからダンス、ハウスやクラシックス、B-MOREなどをユニークにミックスする音の魔術師。

■ワジマ・リンタロウ (FRANK 151)
NY在住中にFrank151の立ち上げに参加。現在は東京Frank151のディレクターとして活躍中。Nike、Oakley等のインターナショナルブランドからCharlotte Ronsonなどのファッションブランドまで数々のプロジェクトを手がけている。その他、海外のブランド／アーティストを取り扱う"PARK"というレーベルを立ち上げるなどジャンルをまたぐ活動を行っている。

■DJ DIRTYKRATES
As the frontman of legendary hip hop group this man has been a forerunner of the Japanese hip hop scene. Since his solo debut, this charismatic artist has been at the top of his game, earning massive respect for his musical sense and smart style, which has won him many listeners and props as a hip hop activist.

■GAINES (ROC TRAX)
Twins Kiboo (who specializes in house) and Koboo (who is a hip hop devotee) combine forces to create Gaines. Working with PCs and midi controllers, their back-to-back DJ style has Tokyo’s fickle club scene enthralled. They have produced music for numerous cable and network TV commercials and are kicking up a storm on the Roc Trax label as DJs and producers.

■HOME CUT
Home cut made his debut at the self-produced discussion event “Edit Conference” in 2004. Over a base of phat hip hop beats, they mash up everything from Kraftwerk to soul, rock, techno, latin and?disco - all in real time. They only spin any one track for about 20-30 seconds and can play as many as 60 records in the space of 35 minutes.

■JOMMY (55DSL)
This charismatic night-life monster and party enthusiast gets behind the turntables alongside the likes of DEXPISTOLS, and is part of the esteemed ROC TRAX crew. PR maestro for the 55DSL brand, JOMMY mixes his beloved hip-hop with electronic dance, house classics and Bmore sounds into a unique party style that routinely causes havoc and occasionally induces complete mayhem.

■Lyntaro Wajima (FRANK 151)
While living in New York, Lyntaro was part of the team that launched magazine Frank151. He currently resides in Tokyo, where he works as the director of the magazine here. He works on many projects, including ones for Nike, Oakley and Charlotte Ronson.
