What: A Dj Contest organized by Parties 4 Peace to choose one lucky Dj / Producer to travel to Chile South America in 2012 for the next round of Patagonica events, organized together with international producers and artists who promote sustainability and respect for our environment while traveling between Japan and Chile to organize music events in pro of making Patagonia a World Heritage site to be recognized by UNESCO.

★東京にて、パタゴニカのDJコンテスト！

What: DJコンテスト - 東京在住のトップＤＪたちの中から選ばれた一人が、南米チリに行って現地のＤＪたちとパーティーをしながらパタゴニアキャンペーンを広めます。当日その一人を決めるのは来てくれたあなたの一票です。

チリおよびアルゼンチン南部に広がるパタゴニア。その手つかずの美しい自然を、電力会社を筆頭とした企業がダムなどを造って荒らさないように、パタゴニアを世界遺産に指定するキャンペーンがあります。そのことによって該当地域の環境保護を促進することができます。11月5日（土）にM Event Spaceで行われるこのイベント「パタゴニカ」はこのキャンペーンの注目度を上げ、一部資金を援助する目的をもったイベントです。

■BACKGROUND of PATAGONICA ::
In May of 2011, the third round of the PATAGONICA DJ contest was held in Chile, South America to decide who will be the artist to join the Patagonica tour in Japan!　　-> http://www.parties4peace.com/

Congratulations to the Chilean Producer, Francisco Ruiz-Tagle, who willl join us for a round of events in Japan this fall in October and November of 2011 ! All funds from our events go towards protecting the nature in Patagonia, Chile and supporting the exchange of artists between Asia and South America。

南米パタゴニアの自然をダム建設などから守り、世界遺産にしようという運動の啓蒙と、日本とチリのダンスミュージックアーティストの交流を目的としたプロジェクト"Patagonica" が主催するDJコンテストが今年も11月5日（土）M BAR で行われるのを受け、同コンテストの出場者を募集している。

優勝者は2011年4月にチリで行われる Patagonica のイベントに招待され、各地でプレイの機会を与えられる。昨年は Redbox や freerange tokyo のレジデント・ Aosawa が優勝者として現地との交流を深め、また、当サイトでも紹介した、2010度の優勝者 Ryo Tsutsui によるチリレポート からも、その雰囲気をつかめるはずだ。

At the Patagonica Dj Contest on Nov 5th, the crowd will vote for their prefered artist, and the winning artist will be announced at the end of the evening, winning a free trip to play music in Chile, South America with leading artists in the techno scene in 2012.

** After party to celebrate with the winner will be held at JAM in Omotesando ! Free entrance !

The funds collected at the Patagonica Dj Contest will be donated towards the environmental campaign to make Patagonia a World Heritage Site recognized by UNESCO in Chile.

一般投票の得票数、上位5名が11月5日（土）東京のM BARで開催される本選へと駒をすすめることができます。

11月5日パタゴニカDJコンテスト本選では、会場にいる観客がおのおのプレイを気に入ったDJへの投票をおこない、最高得票を得たDJが、2012年月に南米チリへのDJツアーへの参加の権利を得ることになります。

＊パタゴニカDJコンテストで得られた収益は、チリ南部のパタゴニカ地方を、UNESCOの世界遺産にするためのキャンペーン資金として寄付されます。
