音楽好きにとって「11月21日」は特別な日だ。

今日に至るまで、世界中の音楽文化は"21 November"を節目に10年間隔で大きな変化を遂げてきた。
その歴史の起点を遡れば、遥か70年前の20世紀中盤、まだ人類が悲惨な大戦を経験して間もない1945年に行き着く。

この年の11月21日。音楽家としては初めて貴族議員にまで登り詰めた、ブリテン男爵ことベンジャミン・ブリテンの「弦楽四重奏曲第2番」がLondonで披露されたことが全ての始まりだった。

10年後の1955年11月21日には、盲目のJazzistであり、同年Deccaレコーズに移籍後多くのイージーリスニング・バラード曲で全米を魅了したAl Hibblerの銘曲「He」が、当時のUSAチャートで前日の４位から３位にランクアップした。

その後も10年ごとに、世界を震撼させた重要な出来事が続く。


■1965年11月21日：もはや説明不要なアイスランドの妖精、Bjorkがレイキャビークにて生を受ける。

■1975年11月21日：ロックの殿堂入りにしてグラミー賞受賞、恐らく世界中で知らない人はいないであろう偉大なミュージシャンBob Dylanが、Boston Music Hallにて数多くの銘曲を披露。後の"ローリング・サンダー・レヴュー"ツアーをまとめたLiveアルバムで使用されたトラックの殆どが、この日の音源である。

■1985年11月21日：Billboard Video Musicカンファレンスがカリフォルニア州Sheratonホテルにて開催初日を迎える。ついでにカナダではCarly Rae Jepsenが生まれた。

■1995年11月21日：2pacとTha Dogg Poundがロスで貧しい人々に七面鳥を2000個ぐらい配る。

■2005年11月21日：なぎら健壱のファーストアルバム「万年床」がビクターレコードより再販される。イギリスではポールマッカートニーが未発表曲「This Loving Game」を含むMaxiシングルをリリース。


そして2015年。本年の11月21日が、土曜日という「週末」であることは何を意味するのだろうか？

答えは、もう誰もがお分かりだと思う。
今回は私たちのパラダイスであるクラブカルチャーが主役ということだ。

November 21, 1965: Iceland fairy, Bjork was born in Reykjavik.

November 21, 1975: the great musician Bob Dylan showed off a many song at Boston Music Hall. Many sound source of this day, are used in Live album that summarizes the "Rolling Thunder Revue" tour.

November 21, 1985: Billboard Video Music conference was held in California Sheraton hotel. In Canada, Carly Rae Jepsen was born.

November 21, 1995: 2pac and Tha Dogg Pound was handing out about 2,000 turkeys to the poor people in Los Angeles.

November 21, 2005: Nagira Kenichi first album of "mannendoko" was resale from Victor record. In the United Kingdom, Paul McCartney released a Maxi single including the unreleased song "This Loving Game".

And, November 21, 2015. This day is Saturday. It's "weekend". Will that mean what?

I think that the answer is known anymore everyone.
This year, our paradise's club culture is the protagonist.
