WOMB 最長レジデントパーティーとして16年目に突入し、長年に渡って構築され研ぎ澄まされたその洗練されたパーティースタイルは、他に例を見ないコミュニティーが存在し、独自の進化を遂げ日本のドラムンベースを象徴するパーティーとなった 06S。今月のゲスト DJ は、ANDY C 主宰 RAM RECORDS を拠点に活動するアップカミング・アーティスト June Miller が日本初来日!! イギリスでレーベルを経営していた Mark と、オランダでパンクバンドをしていた Bart からなる、ドラムンベース・デュオは、運命的に出会い June Miller を結成。今回は Mark が来日する。
2人のその独特で型破りなトラックスタイルとテクニックはシーンに衝撃を与え、オランダのドラムンベース・アワードで最優秀新人賞を受賞し、結成から1年経たずして脚光を浴びた。2人の活躍はいち早く Ram Records の目に止まり、代表的なトラック “64 Thousand”がリリースされた。ジャンルの垣根を越えて大ヒットした “64 Thousand” はシーンにおいて他に類を見ないオリジナリティーがあり、Ram Records のアップカミング・アーティストをピックアップした “Dimensions” シリーズでもリリースされ、世界中のダンスフロアに響き渡り、記録的なヒットとなった。そして、昨年満を持してリリースされたアルバム”Robots & Romance”は、全く類を見無い新たなドラムンベースの形を示し、大きな反響を呼んだ。ハードコアな音楽性を持ちドラムンベースの伝道師とも言える彼らのエネルギーは、ダンスフロアをヒートアップさせクラウドを熱狂の渦に巻き込むだろう。

WOMB's longest-running resident party, 06S, is now in its 16th year, showcasing some of the finest drum 'n' bass in Japan. This month's guest DJ is the upcoming artist June Miller, active on ANDY C's RAM RECORDS, who will be coming to Japan for the first time! This drum 'n' bass duo consists of Mark, who ran a label in England, and Bart, who was in a punk band in Holland, and their fateful meeting led to the formation of June Miller. This time it will be Mark coming to Japan.
> Not even a year has passed since they formed, but they are thoroughly in the limelight: the duo's unique and unconventional track style and technique is having a massive impact on the scene, and they picked up the best newcomer award at the drum 'n' bass awards in Holland. June Miller's activities soon caught the attention of RAM RECORDS, through which they released their hit track "64 Thousand". Their album, "Robots & Romance", released last year, offers a completely new, unique drum 'n' bass sound, and has garnered a lot of support.
