‘98年より音楽制作に関わってきた彼は、これまでにMaasやWorld of Apples名義でSomaやF-Comからリリースを重ね、ディペッシュ・モード、ケミカル・ブラザーズ、フランツ・フェルディナンド、グウェン・ステファニーらのリミックス作品で高い評価を獲得。ザ・ラプチャー、エヴリシング・バット・ザ・ガールのトレイシー・ソーン、デルフィックら錚々たるバンドのアルバムプロデュースを担い、エリートプロデューサーとして順風満帆にこれまでキャリアを積み重ねる。アーティストとしても、スペース、ロバートジョンソン、ザ・ロフトなどを中心に活躍。Ewan Pearson名義ではMIX CDコンピレーションSoma『Sci.Fi.Hi.Fi.』、fabric『fabric 35』、KOMPAKT『We Are Proud Of Our Choices』と世界的ビッグシリーズをリリースしており、彼がAクラスの実力派であることを裏付けている。'99 年にはジェレミー・ギルバートと共に『Discographies: Dance Music, Culture, and the Politics of Sound』を著作、ドイツの音楽誌『グルーヴ』では07年より現在までコラムニストを務めるなど、彼のアカデミックな才能の豊かさは世界中の知るところである。

Ewan Pearson has been making music in many forms since 1998 – he has worked as a recording artist (Maas, World Of Apples, Partial Arts), as a remixer (Depeche Mode, Chemical Brothers, Goldfrapp, Metronomy, Jessie Ware, Teleman) and as a record producer and mix engineer (The Rapture, Ladytron, M83, Ben Watt, Jagwar Ma, Tracey Thorn, Delphic).

Recently Ewan produced and mixed albums forAKASE (!K7) and produced the debut record fromTen Fé (Budde Publishing). After his work in the critically acclaimed Jagwar Ma album ‘Howlin’ album (Marathon), Ewan mixed most of their follow up ‘Every Now and Then', whilst also producing and mixing ‘Life Will See You Now’ the new album Jens Lekman. (Secretly Canadian). He has also recently remixed releases from Field Music, Rosie Lowe, Gwenno, Languages, Georgia Ruth, Crosstown Rebels and “Where’s The Revolution?’ the first single from Depeche Mode’s new album ‘Spirit’.
