The Portalist
夜の東京を愛車のヴィンテージバイクで走る石嶋聡氏を、映像作家ティム・ジョージソンが追ったショートムービー。夜の帳の中、神秘的で忘れ難いような光景をいくつも抜け、今まで存在すら知り得なかった時間や場所、感覚の中へと誘われる。
オープニング初日はショートフィルムも上映いたします。

TIM GEORGESON
Tim’s photography and film direction is surreal and imaginative—he crosses the genres of film and photography by merging found moments with fine art. His experience shooting in war zones, rock concerts and on the streets of the world has given him unique insights into the human condition to be that rare creative force that will push boundaries in a time of digital change and media free-fall. His reputation for creating emotionally stirring work has been celebrated in the media, the arts and the commercial world with multiple World Press Photo Awards, Leica Camera and advertising awards, and by inclusion in private and museum art collections internationally.
ティム・ジョージソンは、日常のひとコマとファインアートを融合することで、写真と映像どちらのジャンルにも捉われないシュールレアルで空想的な作品を作り出す。戦場やロックコンサート、世界中のストリートでの撮影を経験することで、人の特徴をユニークな視点で捉える洞察力と、メディアが堕落したデジタルの時代に限界なく挑むクリエイティブな才能を得る。彼の得意とする感情を掻き乱すような作品作りは各メディアや美術界、広告界でも高く評価され、世界報道写真コンテストや広告コンテストで数多くの賞を受賞したほか、世界中の美術館やプライベートコレクションに所蔵されている。

SATOSHI ISHIJIMA 石嶋 聡 (Satoshi Ishijima)
Satoshi Ishijima is the mastermind behind the Addict Clothes, the apparel company he started out of his enthusiasm for British pre-war to 60’s motorcycles and vintage garments. Known as an international collector of vintage motorcycle jackets, the owner designer now develops leather jackets and boots under his own label. Addict has following that spans across the globe from serious bikers to high-fashion designers.
