世界最強の兄弟 DJ “The Martinez Brothers” が3年半ぶりに来日！

東京をベースに活動するオーガナイズグループ LiLiTH が、2019年11月15日（金曜日）に渋谷のクラブ WOMB にて 「LiLiTH”the party!!!#420”」 を開催。ゲストに世界最高峰の兄弟 DJ デュオ “The Martinez Brothers” を招き、彼らが３時間以上に渡るロングセットを披露する。

The Martinez Brothers は、10代の頃から世界各地の名門クラブでプレイを重ね、Dennis Ferrer や Danny Tenaglia、Timmy Regisford といったレジェンド DJ たちからの寵愛を受け、次世代を担う DJ と若くして注目を集めてきた。

この十数年で名実ともに世界のトップに登り詰めた彼らは、イビサの DC10 で開催される Circoloco を始め、Coachella、UMF、TIMEWARP、Tomorrowland といった有名フェスティバルを熱狂させてきた。

そして2014年には、威厳あるイギリスのダンスミュージック誌 Mixmag の年間 DJ ランキング 「DJ of the Year2014」 を受賞。

そればかりかグラミー賞にノミネートされた Louie Vega やブリットアワードを受賞した Rudimental や Basement Jaxx とのコラボレーション作品を含む、数多くの楽曲が音楽チャートを賑わせてきたのは周知の事実だ。

その一方で、主宰レーベル Cuttin’ Headz が実験的なハウスミュージックを発信し、コアな音楽ヘッズたちを唸らせるなど、DJ、レーベルオーナー、そしてプロデューサーとしても非常に高い評価を得ている。

さらに、彼らの魅力は音楽シーンのみならずファッションのフィールドからも熱いラブコールを得てきた。例えば、パリコレクションで披露された GIVENCHY による Givenchy Fall 2014 Ready-to-Wear Collection の音楽プロデュースや、今では入手困難となった Louis Vuitton x Supreme のコラボアイテムの CM 楽曲の制作。さらに FENDI や Carolina Herrera など数多くのブランドとタイアップをしてきた。彼らが主宰するレーベル Cuttin’ Headz は、NY のグラフィティ・カルチャーからインスパイヤを得ており、音楽とストリート、そしてファッションまでを飲み込むそのスタイルが、ストリートブランドの NEW ERA と共鳴し、同ブランドから The Martinez Brothers モデルのコラボレーション・モデルが発表された。

音楽とファッション、ストリートとハイブランド、そしてアンダーグラウンドとメジャーフィールド。様々なカルチャーを飲み込むハイブリッドな彼らの最大の魅力は、パーティやフェスティバルでの The Martinez Brothers による DJ プレイを通して表現される音楽体験に尽きる。世界を魅了するトップ DJ による音世界を存分に堪能できる貴重なロングセットに期待せずにはいられない。

共演には、NY のアーティストコレクティヴ 「CREW LOVE」 よりデビューを果たし、ヨーロッパやアジア諸国でプレイを重ねる LiLiTH のレジデント DJ の NAOKI SERIZAWA に加え、イビサの DC10 で開催される Circoloco に出演してきた Satoshi Otsuki が脇を固める。

さらに 4F フロアは、写真家・森山大道や BOILER ROOM とのコラボレーションなど、スケートボードの文化を軸に東京からクリエーションの可能性を広げる QUCON がプロデュース。同フロアには、DJ NORI と MURO のユニットである CAPTAIN VINYL や FAKE EYES PRODUCTION が出演。その一方で、FORCE OF NATURE の KZA と KITONOA による B2B に加え、DSKE と MAYUDEPTH による B2B など、この日のみの特別なセットが予定されている。

1F フロアには、世界各地のミュージシャン達とコラボレーションし、数多くの楽曲群をリリースしてきた JUZU a.k.a. MOOCHY や Nina Kraviz のレーベル трип などからリリースを重ねる DJ SODEYAMA に加え、イビサを拠点に活動するアーティスト Hideyo Blackmoon や EITA と REN YOKOI が出演する。

The most powerful DJ brothers in the world "The Martinez Brothers" will be coming back to Japan for the first time in 3 and a half years!

The Tokyo-based Organized Group LiLiTH will hold 'LiLiTH”the party!!!#420”' at Club WOMB in Shibuya on November 15th (Friday). They've invited the world's greatest brother DJ Duo "The Martinez Brothers" and they will play a long set over three hours in length.

The Martinez Brothers have played in famous clubs all over the world since they were in their teens and have basked in the favor of such legendary DJs as Dennis Ferrer, Denny Tenaglia, and Timmy Regisford and have attracted attention as the forefront of the next generation of young DJs.

In the past decade, they have climbed to the top of the world in both name and reputation, and have made the crowd go wild at not only Circoloco held at DC10 in Ibiza, but also at such famous festivals such as Coachella, UMF, TIMEWARP, and Tomorrowland.

And in 2014, they were named "DJ of the Year 2014" in the annual DJ ranking in the esteemed British dance music magazine Mixmag.

Not only that, it's a well-known fact that many of their tracks have been playing on the music charts including collaborations with the Grammy Nominated Louie Vega and the Brit Award-winning Rudimental and Basement Jaxx.

At the same time, their main label Cuttin' Headz has been creating experimental house music inspiring core music heads and they have garnered extremely high acclaim as DJs, label owners, and producers.
