FECAL MATTER

渋谷最大のライブハウスSpotify O-EASTとDJバー東間屋が送るMIDNIGHT EASTにて、パリ拠点のクリエイティブデュオFECAL MATTERが初来日を果たす。

人間離れしたショッキングなルックスが特徴の二人は、自身らのブランドを手掛けるほか、Rick Owensのショーの音楽も担当、モデルやDJなどマルチに活躍する。今回2人はメインフロアにて、MOTORPOOLやHydrosyといったパーティーのレジデントを務める傍らファッションショーやエキシビションの音楽監修も数多く手がけるMAYUDEPTHをはじめ、Protest Raveの首謀者の一人であり、昨年Bedouin Recordsからデビューアルバム『Visions』を発表したMars89、そしてSLICKのオーガナイザーであり、今年7月にはドイツで開催されている世界最大のクィアフェスティバルWHOLEへの出演を果たした7eと共演。ハロウィンの週末をハードなサウンドで彩る。ヴィジュアルは、VR/AR、3DCG、映像、インスタレーション、DJ、サウンドパフォーマンスなど、マルチメディアを取り扱った表現に取り組むアーティストJACKSON kakiが担当する。

一方東間屋には、姉妹ライブデュオtamanaramenがDJ名義4ngelkidzで登場するほか、モデルとしても活動するシャララジマことPanipuri、2022年に自主企画TOGENKYOをスタートさせたハウスDJデュオAn toiの片割れManaha、そしてセレクトショップCANNABISのオーナーでありテクノイベントHALOGENを主催するHIMAWARIがブースに立つ。



MIDNIGHT EAST, a collaborative night venue between Azumaya and Spotify O-EAST, will welcome a Paris-based creative duo FECAL MATTER.

FECAL MATTER, who are characterised by their otherworldly alien aesthetics, have their own fashion brand and are also in charge of music for Rick Owens' shows, as well as models and DJs. For their first DJ gig in Tokyo, they will be joined by MAYUDEPTH, one of the residents at parties such as MOTORPOOL and Hydrosy, as well as the music director for many fashion shows and exhibitions. Also Mars89, who released his debut album “Visions” on Bedouin Records last year and one of the masterminds behind Tokyo’s Protest Rave, and 7e, co-organisers of SLICK and has played at WHOLE, the world's largest queer festival in Germany this past July, will be on the decks at O-EAST. They will soundtrack the Halloween weekend with hard-hitting sounds. Visuals are handled by the artist JACKSON kaki, who creates artworks using multiple media such as VR/AR/MR, video, game, installation, sound art and 3DCG.

In Azumaya, the sister live duo tamanaramen will DJ under the 4ngelkidz alias, as well as Panipuri aka Sharar Lazima who also works as a model, and Manaha, one half of the house DJ duo An toi who started their own project TOGENKYO in 2022, and HIMAWARI, the owner of the select shop CANNABIS and the organiser of the techno event HALOGEN, will be in the DJ booth.
