マンチェスターの "Kacper Pieta" と滋賀MOVEのコミュニティーが生み出す音楽と文化の交流をぜひその目と耳で体験して欲しい。
Kacper Pieta, who launched the event series "Uplift Your Soul" in Manchester, England, has been expanding the scope of his activities, including performing at the "We Out Here Festival" organized by "Gilles Peterson", and has been digging into a variety of music, including soulful house, disco, and Japanese city pop, as well as jazz and crossover, to celebrate his first visit to Japan. With the support of HARMONY and El Musica, we will be creating a night with a group of unique local DJs, focusing on soulful playing, incorporating a variety of content such as dancer showcases, food and accessory booths, and photos.
We hope you will come and experience with your own eyes and ears the musical and cultural exchange created by Manchester's "Kacper Pieta" and the Shiga MOVE community.

ポーランドで生まれ、オーストラリアで一時期を過ごしたあと、スコットランドのエディンバラで音楽的なキャリアをスタートし、自身の基軸を作り上げたのちにマンチェスターに移住。パリを拠点とするインターネットラジオRadio Floukaでのレギュラー番組や、Matthew Halsall, Allysha Joy, and La LoMらのとの共演、Gilles Petersonが主宰するWe Out Here Festivalへ連続出演など、着実にキャリアを重ね、昨年夏はマンチェスターにて新たにイベントシリーズ”Uplift Your Soul”を設立し、第一回目は日本からDazzle Drumsを迎えて開催。その後マドリードでのツアーを成功に収め、活動の幅を広げている。ジャズファンク、ディスコ、ソウルフルハウス、さらには日本の音楽に探究心が強く、シティポップだけでなくジャズやクロスオーヴァーなども含め、飽くなき情熱で掘り続けている。そんな彼のKacperの音楽へのピュアな愛は、Vinyl onlyのミックスシリーズMAJ (My Analog Journal) に出演した際にもとてもよく現れている。フレッシュな感性で様々な音楽をブレンドする若き才能に是非耳を傾けて欲しい。
