HARMONY

7月のHARMONYは1987年にクローズしたNYの伝説のクラブ "Paradise Garage" で "Garage sound"と呼ばれるスタイルを確立し、史上最も影響力のあったDJと言われる Larry Levan (1992年没) の誕生日(7/20)を祝って "Garage Sound" と呼ばれる曲を中心にお届けします。
DJには80年代半ばからキャリアをスタートし、MOVEにて毎月第2火に開催中の "LOVE TRAXX" より "MARKY" 、"feature" をテーマに3周年を迎える "REMIX PORT" のオーガナイザーでありハウスダンサーでもある "Kaziki" の2人が来てくれます。

音楽を取り巻く環境の変化が著しい昨今、このHARMONYだけはいつも変わらず温かい場所であり続けたいと思います。新旧織り交ぜて、様々なジャンルをクロスオーバーさせて、刺激的なミュージックライフを今回もみなさんと楽しんでいけたら幸いです。

In July, HARMONY will be playing songs from the genre "Garage Sound" to celebrate the birthday (20th July) of Larry Levan (died in 1992), who is said to be the most influential DJ in history and established the style known as "Garage Sound" at the legendary NY club "Paradise Garage" that closed in 1987.

The DJs will be "MARKY" from "LOVE TRAXX", which started his career in the mid-80s and is held on the second Tuesday of every month at MOVE, and "Kaziki", the organizer and house dancer of "REMIX PORT", which is celebrating its third anniversary with a "feature" theme.

In these days when the environment surrounding music is changing dramatically, we hope that HARMONY will continue to be a warm and welcoming place that has always remained the same. We hope to enjoy an exciting music life with everyone again this time, mixing old and new, crossing over various genres.
