R-Thor presents Økapi

『電子音が築くロマンチシズム。イタリアからØkapiを招いて繋ぐセンシティブ・エレクトロニック・ジャーニー』

イタリアのコラジスト、サンプリング/プランダーフォニック・ミュージックの奇才電子音楽家Økapiが、Hënkį主催パーティR-Thorへ登壇。
情緒をふくんだ映像的音のディティールで紡ぐ高速のエレクトロニカは、ときにスオミサウンディやテクノ、ときにジャズ、トラディショナルと様々な変質を繰り返す。圧倒的なまでのワールドに翻弄される歓びは多幸的で、驚愕の連続が襲う。狂気的であり、ノスタルジックで、無邪気で精巧な音楽構造物を前に畏怖の感情すら抱かされるかもしれない。

R-Thorは、フィンランド発祥のサイトランス、スオミサウンディの名手Hënkįが主催するパーティで今回第2回を迎える。オーディエンスによって、全てのアーティストがヘッドライナーになり得り、パーティのハイライトになり得る、稀有な才能の招集に成功した。

食品まつり a.k.a FOODMANは、2012年、Orange Milkからのデビュー以降、国内外のレーベルからリリースを重ね、ワールドツアーではUnsound Festival、Low End Theoryへも出演している。アルバム「Yasuragi land」がPitchforkのThe Best Electronic Music of 2021ほか、Music Magazinやele- king等国内外のメディアの年間ベストに選ばれるなど、功績をあげると切りはない。

2014年、ロシアン・トランスのオリジネーターKindzadzaとPsykovskyが運営する名門Osom Musicからの「Reminder」、郷愁と高圧力のハイテックが共存する2020年の名作「mekurumeku」、この2つのアルバムはJUNXPUNXの巨大なイマジネーションを堪能するのに格好の作品かもしれない。ただ、JUNXPUNXの凄まじさはライブで発揮され、シャーマニックなまでの集中力が即興的に収穫する音楽の核は、この夜もリスナーを忘我に導くのは想像に容易い。

さらに、ユニットZVIZMOでのBLACK SMOKER RECORDSからのリリースや、EUフィルムデイズ2025での、100年程前の映画"アクメッド王子の冒険”にライブで音をのせる試みなど、電子音楽家の深度を増すテンテンコと、スオミサウンディとテクノの黄金の折衷点を探るkippoがDJでラインナップ。
モダン・エレクトロニクスをめぐるR-Thorの仕掛けは徹頭徹尾に渡っている。

Økapiはフランス系イタリア人のエレクトロニックミュージックプロデューサーで、コラジスト、プランダーフォニック・ミュージックの提唱者として知られる。

ソロ・レコードのリリースや、数多くのコラボレーション、ラインアップに参加。
無謀にもコードとジャンルを横断する彼は、音楽研究の分野だけでなく、アンダーグラウンドやダンスの世界でも高く評価されている。

ØKapiのアルバム・リリースは、ヒップホップ流のチョップド・アップ・ミュージックを超えたターンテーブルとコンピューターのユニークでエッジの効いた使い方を示しており、繊細で広々としたサウンドを保ちつつ、風変わりな実験的エレクトロニクスを駆使して、オーケストラからラウンジまで幅広いジャンルの音楽を生み出している。

Italian collagist and sampling/plunderphonic music prodigy Økapi takes to the stage at Hënkį's party R-Thor.
His high-speed electronica, spun with emotionally charged visual sound details, sometimes transforms into suomisoundi and techno, sometimes into jazz and traditional music. The joy of being at the mercy of an overwhelming world is euphoric, and a series of astonishing attacks. You may even feel a sense of awe in front of the crazy, nostalgic, innocent and elaborate musical structures.

R-Thor is the second edition of the party organised by Hënkį, a master of Finnish psytrance and Suomisoundi. Depending on the audience, every artist could be a headliner or a highlight of the party, successfully convening rare talent.

Since their debut on Orange Milk in 2012, 食品まつり a.k.a FOODMAN have released on labels at home and abroad, and have also performed at Unsound Festival and Low End Theory on their world tour. His album “Yasuragi land” was selected as one of the best of the year by Pitchfork's The Best Electronic Music of 2021, as well as by local and international media such as Music Magazin and ele- king.

In 2014, “Reminder” from the prestigious Osom Music label run by Russian trance originators Kindzadza and Psykovsky, and “mekurumeku”, a 2020 masterpiece where nostalgia and high-powered high tech coexist, these two albums are JUNXPUNX's might be the perfect work to enjoy the huge imagination of JUNXPUNX. However, the awesomeness of JUNXPUNX is demonstrated live, and it is easy to imagine that the core of the music, which is improvised and harvested by shamanic concentration, will lead listeners to oblivion on this night as well.

Furthermore, Tentenko and her unit ZVIZMO have released a new album on BLACK SMOKER RECORDS, and at EU Film Days 2025 he attempted to put live sound on the 100-year-old film ‘The Adventures of Prince Akhmed’, adding to the depth of the electronic musician, The DJ line-up includes kippo, who explores the golden eclecticism of Suomisoundi and techno.
