Ruin was a true and well known original of the Berlin Scene. He was very respected as a true hardcore raver, but also for his excellent taste that he showed in his sets and reviews for various magazines. He explored music deeper and discovered new artists faster than most others did and promoted them with his own unique enthusiasm. At the end of 2008 he died, way to early and is sadly missed by all who knew him, he left a hole that nobody else than him could fill.
