So a whole heap of talent on one black disc.The original ‘Gold Room’ track is an extended mystical meditation with a spoken intro courtesy of the legendary Sun Ra whose wise words lead you into a new musical world where skewed electronics glide over persistent beats and delicate guitars chime along with harmonic male vocals that recall Brian Eno, Talking Heads and maybe Tarwater. by the inimitable DJ Koze doing his funky thing like only he can, turning the original into an essential piece of leftfield dance music that’s perfect for summer.
