Lookleft & Bearight

学生時代に神戸で出会い、その後ロンドンのパーティーシーンで必然的に再開。いつしかDJ/プロダクションをともにするようになったハーフ日本人デュオ、Lookleft & Bearight。現地ではTomoki Tamura率いるHolicのオープニングDJとして名を馳せているだけ無く、Fabricのラインナップにも名前を連ね、プロデューサーとしても頭角を表しRelease Sustain、Boe Digitsなどロンドンの有名レーベルとサイン。近年ではポーランドのSoundbarよりGuillaume & The Contu DumontとのスプリットEPを発売。そしてCatz & Dogz主宰のPets Recordingsにトラック"Miss You"を提供、またその楽曲がdOPによりリミックスされ、その海をまたぐ世界観は音楽通じ、まさしく世界へ向けてフィードバックされようとしている。みなさんの最寄りのクラブにて彼らのDJ/Liveを見られる日も、そう遠くのことではないだろう。

These cheeky chaps hail from both London and Berlin, but Lookleft & 
Bearight's juxtaposed sound is entrenched within jazz structures and blues-laden feeling and tone despite their cheeky name. Known for hooking up with the Japanese Holic gang, as well as releasing tracks on Release sustain, Boe Digits and more recently, the brilliant label ran by Catz 'N Dogz, Pets Recordings with their sultry and pulsing Miss You appearing on the Friends Will Carry You Home EP. If you're a fan of the eerie, emotive vibes of Tale of Us, then Paul Bangerter and Alex Kassian will tickle the right spots with their multifaceted and textured sound. With more releases planned this year, and an emerging and credible name for themselves in tow, big things are surely to come as they make a unique mark in the world of house music.
