東欧テクノの現在進行形を形作った一人、Stanislav Tolachevはソビエト連邦に生まれ、戦闘機パイロットの父親の元、重工業や宇宙船開発で賑わうウクライナの片隅で育った。ネット環境が無かった頃は、スピードガラージやジャングルなどのカセットテープを、その後ナップスターやネットラジオ、ネット上のレコードショップの試聴版を通じて世界中の音楽と触れることになる。Terrence DixonやSurgeonなどのアーティストから影響を受け、初めてのEPを米国のレーベル"Dark Tekno Records"からリリース。現在では"Semantica"、"Geophone"、"Fullpanda"からもリリースを行い、ベルリンの"Tresor"のレジデントも務めている。センチメンタルでありながら硬質で独特な音色を放つアナログ・ライブセットが各所から注目を集め、特にここ数年ではベルリンの"Berghain"やパリの"Concrete"でのプレイにより知名度が急上昇している。かのDJ Peteからも今世界で最も注目すべきトラックメイカーと評されるウクライナの新星である。

Stanislav was Born in the USSR , and grew up in Ukraine, in the city of heavy industry and spaceship constructing in the military ghetto atmosphere. After almost 13 years of underground experiments, he entered the worldwide techno arena. In- fluenced by Terrence Dixon, Robert Hood, Jeff Mills, Jay Denham, Pacou, Surgeon, Mike Parker, Christian Bloch, Crisitan Voegel, Nail Landstrum, and many many more, Following the traditions, Stanislav makes his sound recognizable and individual. Since 2000 ‘s, he played at motherland under alias RANDOMINDE. Then released his first vinyl on USA label - dark-techno-records. Since mid of 2000 - begins his series of releases on FUNQUE- DROPPINGS - Christian Bloch label. Nowdays - Stanislav closely with M-rec, Semantica, Subsist, Fullpanda, Pohjola,. Modularz and Geophone .. Regular guest legendary TRESOR .., Played in Ber- gain,. and other clubs of Berlin , Denmark, Sweden , Poland, Spain, Italy .. Plays like a DJ, vinyl, and Live - using machines, analog synths and computer.. Much interested in art photography and graphic design.
