Hennessy artistry "THE ART OF BLENDING"

名門STONES THROWを代表するカリスマアーティストが帰還

多彩なジャンルやスタイル、カルチャー、人びとをブレンドするグローバルなミュージックプラットフォーム “Hennessy artistry”。今回迎えるメインアクトは、西海岸の名門レーベル Stones Throw の中でも別格といえるカリスマアーティスト MADLIB だ。90年代初頭のデビュー以来、アンダーグラウンド／オーバーグラウンドを問わず多彩な作品をリリースし続け、ヒップホップだけでなく幅広いシーンから最高の評価を獲得してきたビッグアイコンである。さらに当日は、映像クリエイター SPIKE JONZE の実弟 Squeak E Clean と DJ Zegon からなるユニットN.A.S.A. とブラジル出身の新鋭 Karol Conka も登場。Stones Throw の中心人物 Egon、ロンドンを拠点とするヒップホッププロデューサー Eric Lau、国内からは MURO、DJ MItsu The Beats らも参戦する。一晩を通して、ヘネシーとともにフロアは大いなる熱狂に包まれることだろう。

Legendary hip-hop producer Madlib to rock Hennessy artistry

Hennessy artistry, the global music platform that has artfully brought us never-to-be-seen before collaborations between the legends of the street scene, will again be bringing a typically rock-solid line-up for their show this month, headlined by Stones Throw legend Madlib. On top of a much-anticipated collaboration between the West coast legend and prolific producer/drummer mabanua, the event will host a strong line-up of artists including the international collective N.A.S.A. comprised of Squeak E. Clean and DJ Zegon, who also will meet the likes of eclectic Brazilian rapper Karol Conka, who has exploded into the hip-hop world drawing comparisons to Nicki Minaj and M.I.A, as well as the goofball party-crashing MC ZEN-LA-ROCK. Former Stones Throw manager Egon, London-based hip-hop producer Eric Lau, and crate-diggers MURO and DJ Mitsu The Beats will also be adding some juice to the blend on this cognac-soaked night.
