RBMA presents HOW GOOD IT IS! That's TODD TERJE - LIVE -

6 月27 日（金）北欧ニューディスコの至宝、トッド・テリエが日本初のライブセットをレッドブル・ミ
ュージック・アカデミー主催のもと東京「WOMB」で披露決定。コズミックディスコ／バレアリック・フ
ァンにとって歴史的な一夜がここに実現する。

ノルウェー・オスロを拠点に活動するトッド・テリエは、往年のディスコサウンドを現代版にアップデー
トしたニューディスコと呼ばれるジャンルで数々の傑作リエディットを生み出し、またローリング・スト
ーン誌の「世界に君臨する25 人のアーティスト」にも選ばれるなど、近年もっとも注目を浴びるプロデ
ューサーである。

2010 年、彼のリエディットやリミックス曲だけを初CD 化したベスト盤的コンピレーション 『Remaster
Of The Universe』をリリース。それまでオリジナル曲はほとんど発表されることがなかったが、2011
年にドイツのレーベル“Running Back”から「Ragysh」、2012 年に彼自身のレーベル“OLSEN Records”
から「It’s The Arps EP」をリリースし、瞬く間に世界中から高評価を得た。

元ロキシー・ミュージックのブライアン・フェリーとのレコーディング・セッション映像が動画サイトで
突然公開されて世間を驚かせたのも束の間、リンドストロームのアルバム『Smalhans』では全曲のミッ
クスを担当、またフランツ・フェルディナンドの『Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action』にも
参加するなど、ここ数年でトラックメイカーとしての評価は高まるばかり。そんな彼が初のシングル・リ
リースから10 年の時を経て、なんと今年4 月に待望のファースト・アルバム『It's Album Time』をリリ
ース。題名から分かる通り、満を持して自身のオリジナル曲だけを聴かせるタイミングがやって来たのだ。

さらに当日は「RBMA VIP Lounge」にてレッドブル・ミュージック・アカデミーと縁の深いアーティス
トたちが出演決定。2008 年のアカデミー卒業生であるsauce81 はN'gaho Ta'quia（ンガホ・タキーア）
名義のデビュー・アルバム『In The Pocket』をリリースしたばかりで、そのライブセットを披露。また
日本のヒップホップ界を代表するアーティストのgrooveman Spot、「Brainfeeder」や「Low End Theory」
に出演経験を持つビートメイカーのRLP、東京を拠点にワールドワイドな展開を見せるレーベル”
Diskotopia”からFujimoto Tetsuro。

On the 27th of June (Friday) Todd Terje, the most representative for Scandinavia New Disco, will perform a live set in Japan for the first time at Tokyo WOMB, sponsored by Red Bull Music Academy. It will be an epic night for cosmic disco and balearic fans.
Todd Terje's musical activity is in Norway and Oslo. He updates the old disco sound into a modern version, a genre called new disco. He often created masterpieces by reediting. He was also elected by Rolling Stone Magazine among the "25 artists who control the world", a producer who has attracted much attention in the last years.
In 2010 he released "Remaster Of The Universe", a compilation with the best reedits and remixes from his early CD albums. Until then he did not used to release original melodies. In 2011 he released "Ragysh" under the Dutch label "Running Back", but in 2012 he released "It's The Arps EP" under his own label "OLSEN Records", which was much appreciated all over the world in a blink of an eye.
The recording session with the Bryan Ferry of Roxy Music footage uploaded on a video site has suddenly surprised the world in an instant. He was responsible for all mixes in Lindstrom's album "Smalhans". He also took part in Franz Ferdinand's "Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action" and other compilations. In all those years his track maker fame has increased. 10 years after his first single release, the long expected "It's Album Time" was released this year in April. As the title suggests, it is the time to listen something original, something ripe through many years.
Furthermore, in collaboration with Red Bull Music Academy, "RBMA VIP Lounge" will present famous artists.
Graduated in 2008 from the Academy, sauce81 released his debut album "In The Pocket" under the name of N'gaho Ta'quia. We will present you a live set from that album. There will also be "grooveman Spot", "Brainfeeder" and "Low End Theory", representative artists for Japanese hip-hop, with the beat maker RLP and Fujimoto Tetsuro from "Diskotopia", a worldwide level development from Tokyo.
