The latest edition of "HYPER IRONY"—a live event series focusing on the unseen affinities between artists active in diverse fields—will take place at Shimokitazawa ERA.

The lineup features four acts: "SOLMANIA," an Osaka-based noise legend that unleashes otherworldly roars using self-modified guitars and a massive array of effects pedals; "REBEL FAMILIA," a duo comprising Takeshi "HEAVY" Akimoto (a singular bassist known for his work with DRY&HEAVY and THE HEAVYMANNERS) and GOTH-TRAD (a Japanese bass music prodigy of global renown); "LOST TECHNO," a project by Atsuhiro Ito and VELTZ that creates sound art by transforming relics of a bygone era—such as fluorescent lights and analog televisions—into musical instruments; and "algo ruidoso," a unique "mutant" twin-drum band bringing together members with diverse backgrounds, including Minoru Kakinuma (frontman of tiala and FIXED) and electronic musician Naoki Nomoto. Additionally, Yohei Kunitomo—owner of "pianola records," a shop beloved by Shimokitazawa music enthusiasts—will participate as the opening DJ and host a pop-up stall.
