最先端のヨーロッパ・サウンドをコンセプトにロンドンでパーティーをスタートし、現在は東京でスペシャルなパーティーを展開しているFasten Musique Concreteが、満を持してレコード・レーベルを始動する。
ファースト・リリースを飾るのは、Fasten TokyoのレジデントDJ/プロデューサーYoshitaca。Metroline Limited からリリースされた”Just Lay Back”のヒットは記憶に新しいが、これまでにCarillon、Mussen Project、Moonpool、TEAM Records といったヨーロッパ各国のレーベルからリリースを重ね、2011年にUnderTone Recordingsよりリリースされた"The Veil(Union Beauty Remix)"は、Ellen Allienが手掛けた英DJ Mag誌のプロモーションCD''On The Road Mix"に収録されている。
今回のリリースでは、ミニマルとディープ・ハウスをクロスオーヴァーするセンス抜群の2トラックを収録。Aサイドの”Whagt”は、繊細な音色とリズム、ディープな雰囲気の中にも遊び心が見られるモダンでユニークなサウンド。Bサイドの”Interminable”は、音数の少ないミニマルなトラックでありながらもダイナミックなサウンド。分厚くファンキーなベース・ラインの伸びが美しい。 リミキサーには Soweso、We Dig. Musicを主宰するオランダのトップ・プロデューサーLauhausを起用。David LabeijとのユニットPolderや、RemoteArea、Intactoといったレーベルから新しいサウンド・スタイルを生み出し、最近では自身のレーベル以外にもGet Physical、Viva、Supernatureといったトップ・レーベルからも精力的にリリースを重ねている。今回の”Interminable”のリミックスは、ディープなサブ・ベースが唸るテッキーな仕上がりで、彼の進化したパワフルなグルーヴを感じることができる。
