EDM シーンの超 VIP、Bingo Players。オランダから初来日決定！
オランダ出身のエレクトロニック・ミュージック・プロデューサー、Bingo Players（ビンゴ・プレイヤーズ）。2006年 に Maarten Hoogstraten と Paul Bäumer からなるデュオとして活動をスタートした彼らは、自身のレー ベル Hysteria Records を軸に"Touch Me""Chop""I Will Follow""Tom's Diner"らをスマッシュ・ヒットさせ活躍の場を広げてきた実力派だ。そして2011年には"Cry (Just a Little)"と"Rattle"が世界的ヒットとなり、EDM シーンを代表するアーティストとして地位を確立。Tomorrowland、 Ultra Music Festival、EDC など大型野外フェスの常連としても精力的に活動を行っている。
そして2012年には、"Don't Blame the Party (Mode) ft. Heather Bright"と"Out Of My Mind"のヒットに続きリリースした"Get Up (Rattle) ft. Far East Movement"で、ついに UK シングル・チャート1位の座を獲得。名実共に世界的トップ・プロデューサー の仲間入りを果たしている。
しかし、順風満帆な活動を続けるも、2013年末にはメンバーの Paul がガンとの闘病の末に死去する不幸に見舞われてしまう。 それでも残された Maarten は、Bingo Players の名を引き継ぎことを決意し、現在はソロ・プロジェクトとして活動を展開。今年リリースした最新シングル"Knock You Out"は、初の US チャート1位に輝いている。待望となる今回の初来日ギグでは、キャッチーなサンプルやフレーズが繰り出される、Bingo Players ならではの EDM～ダッチ・ハウス・サウンドを堪能できることだろう。
Super VIP of the EDM scene, Bingo Players of Holland, is coming to Japan for the first time!
An electronic music producer group from Holland, Bingo Players, was born in 2006 when Maaten Hoogstraten and Paul Baumer decided to team up. Leveraging their own label, Hysteria Records, their talents were revealed on the big stage with hits like “Touch me,” “Chop,” “I will follow,” and “Tom’s diner”.
In 2011 their songs “Cry (Just a little),” and “Rattle” were hits worldwide, and their music became representative of the EDM scene.
They’re also regular features at large outdoor music festivals such as Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival, and EDC. ? In 2012, following the releases of “Don’t Blame the Party (Mode) ft. Heather Bright,” and “Out Of My Mind,” they released their hit “Get Up (Rattle) ft. Far east Movement” which jumped to No.1 on the UK singles charts. With this, their status as being among the top producers in the world was cemented.
? However in 2013, among the full blown activity, the world received the tragic news that Paul had lost his battle with cancer. Despite this, Maaten decided to continue to perform under the Bingo Players name and currently he is active as a solo producer. His newest release this year “Knock You Out” reached No.1 on US charts.
