「MIDNIGHT EAST」によるパーティーに、UK テクノの重鎮 Luke Slater が登場！

1980年代後半より音楽活動を続ける彼は、キャリア30年を超えた今もなお精力的に活動を続けており、2021年にはAnthony Childらをコラボレーターに迎えたアルバム『Dialog』を発表、同年催眠的でソウルフル、ファンクを多用したサウンドで知られる変名プロジェクトPlanetary Assault SystemsのLP『Sky Scraping』もリリースしている。
実に10年ぶりの来日公演となるSlaterを迎え撃つのは、近年飛躍的な活躍を見せ現行の日本テクノシーンをリードするDJの1人となった、札幌在住のOCCA。
東間屋では、北九州・小倉で自身のクラブsound space αを運営し、2021年には東京 VENT にて Occa とのパーティーSECT もスタートさせたYSKをはじめ、今冬自身初のヨーロッパツアーを敢行したTranscendence主宰のDJ MARIA.、自身のパーティーeulbを主催するimus、そしてサイケデリックテクノパーティー/レーベルLiquid Drop Grooveを主宰するYUTAがプレイする。

MIDNIGHT EAST, a collaborative night venue between Azumaya and Spotify OEAST, will invite UK techno heavyweight Luke Slater for the next event.
Slater started as a DJ in the late 1980’s and has been working tirelessly even after 30 years of his career. He released the latest album “Dialog” in 2021 with Anthony Child and other collaborators, and in the same year, he released another LP called “Sky Scraping” under Planetary Assault Systems alias, a project known for its hypnotic, soulful, funk- heavy techno.
For his first visit to Japan in 10 years, Slater will be joined by Sapporo-based DJ OCCA, one of the leading lights in the current Japanese techno scene, who has made great strides in recent years.
In Azumaya, YSK, who runs his own club sound space α in Kitakyushu and organises SECT party with OCCA, and DJ MARIA., the organiser of Transcendence and finised her first ever Europe this winter will be on the decks. imus, who hosts her party eulb, and YUTA, the man behind psychedelic techno party/label Liquid Drop Groove, will also play.
