さて、毎年この時期にはIbizaを始めヨーロッパに来ていますが、今年はclubberiaさんとの企画で旅のレポートを兼ね、こっちは「こんな感じ～」というのを、他の観光客とは違った視点でお送りできればと思ってます。興味ある人はゆる～く読んでみて下さいね。日本で8/4にOoooze BEACHやるために７月末に１回帰るけど、今年は10月半ばぐらいまでこっちにいる予定だよ～。    baggageも無事にpick upして空港をout。Ibizaは今回で８回目。さすがに去年ぐらいから、空港出た時にほとんど感動しなくなった。ナイス！これは僕にとっては非常にいい事。毎回いつも、早く自然に無感動になりたいなあと思ってきた。ヨーロッパの少なくとも僕の周りのイケてるやつらは、若い時からひと夏に何回も来てるから、もう普通の出来事でいちいちそんな感動してないはず。Ibizaに来る度に猛烈に感動してるうちは、それっていつまでも自分が遠いasiaのオノボリさんって事だと思ってきた。例えば日本人だったら、湘南に来る度に、気分はいいけど猛烈な感激はいちいちしない。それと同じ。 今回はビックリするほど何にも感じなかった。本当に普通に帰って来た～、って感覚が劇的さがない分逆に心地よかった。  VassiliとJuan。長旅でとにかく疲れたからね。まずはVassiliの家へ直行してスイカを食べます。ギリシャ人のVassiliは、６年前から仲良くしてもらってる、Ibizaの街のキーパーソン。10カ国語を話す超国際人で、毎年彼の家に泊まったり泊まらなかったり。僕が知らなかった国際マナーや精神的な事をものすごく教えてくれる、本当に大切な友達。もちろん日本語もペラペラで、日本にも友達がたくさん。むかしはPACHAのDancerだったよ。    とりあえず着いたばかりなのでゆるりとこんな感じ。週明けにはさっそくCocconオープニング、SpaceでのWOMB TOKYO NIGHTなどパーティー盛りだくさんになるので、タイミング見てレポしてみます。お楽しみに♫  |
 vol.1：Just Arrived in Ibiza(June 10th 2012)   RAHA (Beat In Me, Ooooze / Tokyo, Jp) 16才から始めたクラビングを、彼ほどプロフェッショナルの域にまで追求し続けてきた人物は世界においてもそうは見当たらないだろう。 世界を舞台にしての完全現場主義、そして完全フロアー主義を今も貫き、ダンスミュージックの真実は、自分の家でもClubのVIP Areaでもまたインターネットの中でもなく、ダンスフロアーの中にこそあるという信念に基づいて行動する。 2008年より国内で本格的なDJ活動を開始。真の意味でのクラブ遊びを世界中でし続けてきた彼だが、それに加え90年代にストリートダンサーとして第一線で長くキャリアを重ねたその実績を通し培われた感性は、ダンスミュージックを奏でるDJとして最大限に生かされる事となる。グルーブを重視し、フロアー内を常に意識したそのプレイは、一般の人達はもとより、耳の肥えた真のクラバー達からの絶大な支持を集めている。 現在の国内での自身のメインプロジェクト『Beat In Me』では、Rhadoo, Petre Inspirescuらを招聘。現在の世界のシーンを席巻するルーマニアンハウスに焦点を当てた最もアンダーグラウンドに忠実なパーティーの１つとして大成功を収めている。 また2015年４月には、アンダーグラウンドシーン最高峰であるRPR SOUNDSYSTEM (Rhadoo, Petre Inspirescu, Raresh) のLIQUIDROOMでのOpen to Last公演を主催、大成功に導き日本のシーンに大きな衝撃を与える事となる。 2012年より、国内で最もポピュラーなクラブ情報サイト『clubberia』において自身のページ『IBIZA through RAHA's eyes』の連載をスタート。全てが自分自身の実体験を通した世界のクラブシーンの内部に迫るリアルな"今"をレポートし続けるもので、全国のクラバーからの反響は本人の予想を遥かに超えるものとなり、シーンのトレンドの先頭を走り続ける彼のポジションを自他ともに認める不動のものとする大きな手助けとなっている。 アーティスト、プロデューサー双方の顔を兼ね備え、常に最先端のダンスシーンの核となるパーティーをプロデュースするなど、シーンのトレンドセッターとしての役割も担う最重要人物の一人でもある。 近年世界のシーンにおいてそのプレイは高い評価を受け、2012年にトップアーティストが軒並み顔を揃える "PCB RADIO" (Ibiza/France) にてアジア人として初となるマンスリーレジデントに抜擢されたのを始め、Colours In Music(Slovenia), Melisma Showcase(Chile/Spain)２回, 2702(Chile), Nightclubber(Romania)２回, Medusa Bloom(Poland), Vnights(Argentina), Wē Are the Gypsÿ Childrën(USA), Bonheur (France), Switch (Sweden), CherryThreeWild (France), Clubberia(日本)と、2016年1月現在まで海外10カ国のPodcastを担当している。また今や世界においても広くその名を知られる事となった日本国内最大U-StreamであるDOMMUNEへの度重なる出演や、スペイン、イギリス、ルーマニア、ドイツ、チリ、ロシア、韓国などといった海外でのギグも成功を収め、また楽曲制作においては、2015年12月にルーマニアンレーベル『Music Is Art』より、待望の初リリースがドロップされた。日本人として今後最も注目すべきアーティストの一人であると言える。 You won't find many people in the world who has taken the clubbing to the professional level like Raha, an artist based in Tokyo. Using the world as his stage, Raha takes a totally hands-on and floor-centric approach, and works under the belief that real dance music exists not at home or on the Internet, nor in VIP areas at clubs, but rather, exactly where it belongs... on the dance floor. In 2008, Raha started his full-fledged DJ career within Japan. The aesthetics he developed during his long career and achievements as a street dancer in the '90s still act as a huge influence on his current activities as a DJ. His work always focuses on the groove and the dancefloor, which has earned him a huge following of both casual listeners, as well as real clubers with highly trained ears. Focusing on the Romanian house sound presently conquering the global scene, Raha has invited such artists as Rhadoo and Petre Inspirescu to Japan for his most recent club project, "Beat In Me". This project has grown into one of Tokyo's most successful parties, one of the very few that continues to stay faithful to the underground. In April, 2015, he also organized world's top underground quality - RPR SOUNDSYSTEM (Rhadoo, Petre Inspirescu, Raresh) 's Open to Last Gig at LIQUIDROOM in Tokyo. It made a huge success and gave the scene of Japan a big shock. In 2012, he began serializing his own travelogues, entitled "IBIZA through RAHA's eyes" as a regular columnist on "clubberia", Japan's most popular dance music website. He reports on imminent trends within the world scene based on his own real experiences, giving him the ability to influence party lovers all over Japan, far more than he ever expected, while solidifying his position at the forefront of the scene. Wearing both hats of "performing artist" and "producer", Raha consistently finds himself creating parties which sit at the cross-section of the most up-to-date dance music scenes, and is already established as one of Tokyo's most important musical trendsetters. In recent years, Raha has established a stellar reputation in the global scene, and in 2012 he was selected as the first Asian monthly resident on "PCB RADIO" (Ibiza/France), a program that gathers top artists from all over the world.
